At least he is learning on a blaster it was my starting sport quad and I still love till this day. It’s easy and cheap to fix so learning manual if you burn out the clutch then you can fix it so anyone want a sport quad get a blaster very recommend!

Its called a manual clutch. There is also automatic clutches where the shift lever also operates the clutch.
