Lincoln is now a design leader. Instead of hard edged exaggerated styling, that is at best polarizing, Lincoln is giving us timeless design that will still look great in 5-10 years. Kudos!!!
Ford did a fantastic job
There is an adage about how men should dress that goes something like "Look like you spent a lot of time and thought dressing yourself this morning, but also that you haven't given it a thought since." I don't know why, but these new Lincolns, starting with the Continental, remind me of that. They have this classic, understated look about them at first glance, then you look closer and realize the designers definitely put a lot of thought into everything. I love it.
Lincoln is creating handsome and high quality vehicles, I hope they upgrade the sedan line up and not let it die out.
Ford did a fantastic job
I like how it is a smaller version of the aviator. Lincoln has really stepped up their game, all of their vehicles look great and are cohesive, good job!
Lincoln... IS KILLING IT! 👍🏾
The car is refreshing in both style and features. If it's reliable, it should be a good one to own.
TL....I Agree!!! :-)
It won't be.
My 2015 MKC has been very reliable. Just normal maintenance and I’m at 76k miles
Ryan Harrison Thank God for your sake & everyone else's 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Lincoln has one of the most beautiful vehicles on the road now. They don’t appear gawdy like Cadillac, just classy!
I like to own a MKZ someday.
We have a 2011 and 2014 MKZ, both have been great cars. Get one, youll love it
They make me wish Lincoln was coming to Australia.
Richard Manning I think Lincoln will become a true global brand ... I think they want a full lineup of vehicles that they are truly proud of and that can compete against luxury rivals in every way
I like the design. Subtle elegance. Lincoln has really stepped up their game. Love the seats, if you can’t get comfortable hear ,you don’t have a human spine. I wish it had the Mercedes twin lcd displays. 295hp is a good start, but the for 2.3 is still a question mark for me regarding the build quality & reliability. I think at $60k it’s trying to hard to compete with established Marques like Bmw & Audi.
So Glad Lincoln is using real names for their cars. I’ve rented many Cadillacs over the years from their suvs to the large sedans. I still can’t remember their alphanumerical nomenclature(CTs,xts, xt5, xt4, xt5). Most car companies are equally guilty with their alphanumerical profanities.
After 20 years of owning Audi’s, Bmw’s, Mercedes, Lincoln has my attention. Good job Lincoln.
THIS is a really improved Lincoln compact SUV, IMHO. I own a 2019 MAZDA GT Reserve, 2.5 L. turbo, AWD and it is a very good "near luxury" SUV with about 90% of the Corsair's features like folding side mirrors, 10 speaker BOSE sound system, Voice Command, 4 heated seats and cooled front seats, etc.
So with the new Corsair I absolutely would put it first on my list ahead of ALL European and Japanese luxury compact SUVs. Like my CX 5 GT Reserve, it is a lot of SUV for the money at any model level.
This is my dream car, I love it!
Hopefully I’ll have this car soon!
This motivates me to keep on working hard! 😁
I think that Lincoln is doing an extraordinary job when it comes to making excellent luxury products that stand out from there for ford counterpart platform mates I work at Hertz rental car and I recently rented a Lincoln Continental for the weekend and came away very impressed with just the amount of luxury it has standard and I recently serviced a Lincoln Nautilus The other day while I was working I came away very impressed with the interior and everything it offers and it’s exterior looks just set it apart from every other luxury auto maker Lincoln is definitely making more luxurious products then Cadillac when it comes to interior
I've been looking for a small SUV alternative to trade out of my Audi A4 and I think I just found it.
Go for it, you will not be disappointed.
Great looking car from an inspiring family of Lincoln’s!
I love the clamshell back door and what it allows them to do with the rear lights.
Brian Buehler Agree. Very few do the full set of lights unsplit like the Audi Q5 also. Open the hatch fully and I believe both have permanent lights underneath in case the car is driven with the hatch open. I hate all other designs with non-daylight functioning lights in the hatch split from the “real” light cluster
I'm just glad Lincoln is cohesive across the lineup again, and finally giving Caddy some domestic competition. Great things on the horizon.
As for the new Lincolns in particular...eh, I don't know how I feel about the design language. On the Aviator it looks droopy from the back in some angles, which I hate, this one isn't so bad but were it not for the 2.3 I think i'd still go for an XT4 based on that alone. But that's subjective, in general I think they're doing well.
Just checked their page with what comes at their base model...I'm more than impressed. Add the nice interior lighting for a total of $38,900 and That's it. You don't need to load it for $60k. I could see Lincoln making a killing selling their base model of the Crosair.
The Lincoln looks a lot better than the Lexus . 10 times better .
I just purchashed this car. .After one week of driving . I love it
Looks gorgeous! Lincoln and Cadillac are making the nicest SUVS in the market. Lincoln has done a nice job in maintaining its’ unique design that stands out from the competition!
Navigator, Aviator and Corsair are long over due. I like where these are going.
Wow I love this! Definitely tempting me to trade in my MKC. Maybe in another year or two. I love the direction Lincoln is going!
I love Lincoln's new direction, can't afford any of them as I won't buy a base model or lightly optioned one but glad they are designing desirable vehicles instead of obvious badge engineered clones.
Depreciation will be interesting to watch, it's normally huge for Lincoln and has continued on the Continental but with these being well designed CUV/SUV's which are very popular it may be better.
Side note: Please don't say "we stepped up to..." unless Roadshow actually bought it. Just say "our tester..."
You actually get a lot in these vehicles at the base level. I’m currently leasing a Nautilus base, and it has all of the features I was hoping to get with the exception of the technology package with the adaptive cruise control - but that would have added maybe 20k to the price. I have to say that I’m really happy with it though.
SS S “We stepped up to” Thought I was the only one who caught that. I can understand if it’s a long term test vehicle.
Michael Spikes what do you pay a month? Any money down?
@@USA____ $450, no money down
Michael Spikes wow that is a good price. Did you have the A plan or some special discount?
*Great video* to be honest
My next vehicle.
I have driven this SUV in a track, its a surprisingly fun car to toss around. the steering is very nimble and the 2.3 performance is solid.
Good review
I would like to see this Lincoln in Europe, too!
Great vid bud. That's a nice unit. Lincoln finally got my attn
There’s only gonna be a plug-in hybrid released? No standard hybrid like the new Escape hybrid?
Could you tell us a little more about the build quality, reliability and durability of this vehicle🧐
60 GRAND! Whoa I’ll take a Acura RDX a spec or Infiniti qx50. Lincoln should re think the prices it’s steep for a brand just making a comeback...
Why? The Lincoln has more room. It also is a newer design and Infiniti is crap for reliability
Nash Gover I wouldn’t exactly call fords reliable so... on the other hand Acura’s are solid. It doesn’t have 60 grand worth of room. I actually think this car is nice just not at that price lots of other choices.
Well done. Excellent presenter.
Beautiful SUV! I need one!
At 35-40k this is a good buy, at 60k like the test vehicle there are many other larger options. Good vehicle long as they price t lower than Germans and Lexus, remember Lincoln doesn’t have a good dealer network. More to a luxury vehicle than just product,
40k for the SUV and 20k profit for the company Ford
It's sad that Lincoln charge for top of the line for almost 60 grand. Has Lincoln quality improved. I'll take my RX450 h for this. It's close price wise but Lexus has the quality for years.
Nice review Antuan! 👍
subscribed.
GM has sooo much catching up to do that I don't think they'll make it. Ford has been knocking it out of the park with incredibly solid chassis's that allow them to easily trickle products up market. The xt5 is based on the Acadia and Blazer, all sporting ho hum drivetrains from 10 years ago. The all new ct5 looks pretty good on the exterior, but feels like nothing more than an upgrade rental car on the inside... Good luck.
I like the idea of this thing, but $60k for a four cylinder Ford is non-starter.
lol, dont buy then those luxury extra packages
Lincoln is shrewdly tapping into an underserved traditional luxury market. The boomers are ready for vehicles like this and can afford the premium price tag. Cadillac really missed the boat!
I think the new Lincoln SUVs are awesome! Buy American!!
This in Europe would sell so well...Lincoln, IT'S TIME TO SELL IN EUROPE
If you want an upscale 2020 Escape this one is the ticket !
Lincoln right now is killing it in the SUV/Crossover game, compared to say Cadillac. Definitely strong competition to the German luxury crossovers. I can only hope that GM will step up to this with the new Escalade/Yukon
Mane what Dj Paul doing Car Reviews For 😆😆😆
Ill be buying either this or the aviator plug in after the bugs are squashed.
Nice but you lost me at 60K.
Give it a year and get it for 29k or less
@@GodsloveMuzik OMG, you took the words right out of my mouth!
40k for the SUV and 20k profit for the company Ford
This one is fully loaded. You can get a nice one in the forties.
rya Yeah even a fully loaded Standard trim is $48k max. Which is still very nice with the essential features such as the panoramic sunroof, the tech options, the Elements package for the heated & cooled front seats, heated rear seats, & heated steering wheel. It's more affordable for a lease
The rear tailgate is European inspired as the entire lid is closes like a clamshell like Audis and Citroens.
Its Lincoln's best line up of cars in the 20th century, and the navigator black label is the ultimate Lincoln.
Personally these cars aren't my style, I'm more sporty in nature. But this is a pretty solid SUV.
For $60k y'all shoulda put up some performance numbers! $60K FOR any German marque, you get some driving excitement! X3 MSport & Audi SQ5 are perfect examples, and I WOULDA like to see what this could do versus the EURO
But the vehicles you are listing are starting at 60+. They are also a whole different category. Lincoln isn't competing in the crossover race track segment.
@@btbcc12859 the X3 & Q5 don't start @ 60k. The MSPORT X3 & SQ5 start in @ $58k annnnd go up the more boxes u check 4 options
@@93remix stock x3 and q5 will give you same performance as corsair.
Lincoln isn't trying to compete with the "performance" segment. That's the whole point. They are prioritizing luxury and comfort and tapping into a market that's been waiting for something just like it.
Uh, Infiniti and Audi has sliding rear seats...🤦🏽♂️
What do you drive Antuan? You look like a guy with a luxurious daily driver. Let me in.
$37,000 to start is a good buy but the top trim at 60k is insane. I'd rather wait for the Tesla Model Y.
I wish Lincoln was available here
Wherever "here" is! :)
@@richardb9591 Oh sorry haha :) In the UK
$60k?
At 60k, this thing is a joke. I wouldn't buy something in this segment anyway, I'd prefer to spend it on something with four doors and a trunk that's much faster. Doesn't mean I don't have massive respect for the direction Lincoln is taking here! Now, if only Genesis could get their SUV game together...
$60,000 Damn !
Sorry, but a loaded one of these is going into the 50's. At that price it doesn't make sense. This is priced above the Acura which is a better put together and designed SUV. That's nuts.
$60k and cheap looking dash nd shiney black plastic is a no. It's better than a XT4 but that's a low bar
I thought that was the aviator
I like his lisp🤣
45k would be a fair price.
For $60k go German or Stelvio 4V
Great cars, steep pricing.
I don't think it encourages me to pay 60,000$ and plus maybe comfort pakage, for Lincoln badge, I'd rather go German Brand's☺️
Not bad but I'd get the XT4.
I am sick of corporate America downsizing everything. They sure dont down size the price... Americans are brainwashed.
Waaaaaant.
..taillights are more merc than audi..
It's an Edge clone. Nice review.
No, actually the new Escape and Baby Bronco, if your talking Edge then you should be saying Nautilus, Explorer- Aviator, Expedition-Navigator.
Just wish they got rid of push button transmission
I hate small cars
God Almighty just what the world needs another ugly SUV I am so sick and tired of these
