Making 0.1" Jumper Cables - Crimp Tool Shootout

This video discusses three different crimp tools for the purpose of creating custom jumper cables for 0.1" header pins and sockets. The ones used are: Engineer PA-09, Multicomp HT-225D and AMP 90202-2. The crimp sockets used are part code 2226TG, and the crimp pins are either C-Grid SL series 16-02-0107 or EI series 170376-1 . All three of these options are fairly low cost compared to others. The heatshrink sleeving is 1.5mm diameter, 3:1 ratio, such as Hellermann Tyton HIS-3-BAG-1.5. The wire strippers used were Knipex 12 12 02.
