More agencies should perform immediate PIT maneuvers like Arkansas state police. No sense in chasing someone all over town, taking a chance of killing an innocent person. The suspect doesn't care about their safety let alone anyone else's. If they are severely injured or killed during a PIT maneuver.....well they should have made better decisions in life and just pulled over.
The unfortunate thing about this POS is that once you cross state lines during/after a crime, it no longer becomes Local/State jurisdiction, but FBI jurisdiction.
Crazy how when the Arkansas State Police Chase someone into Memphis they get 0 response from Tennessee or Memphis....but if they chase I30 going to Texas the Texas DPS troopers are waiting at boarder to apprehend...
a word to the wise: there are no laws requiring insurers pay for damage, either to any vehicles or property affected by pursuit. and the owner is responsible for recovery of the vehicle once it is abandoned, or seized by police. ie: if you are in VA, and your car turns up in NYC, getting it home is your problem, including paying for parking tickets, towing and impound fees. sucks, but you left it running.
I have seen Arkansas state troopers stop when they get to Memphis at the bridge, but these guys continued into Alabama. Idk the protocol on when they can continue or not. Also going down a creepy and dark road had to be a bit foreboding for the police. Never know if an ambush is waiting. You have to assume the perp is going somewhere they know. Kind of a smart move, bc no one wants to chase someone in that environment at that time, especially if you didnt see which direction they went. Luckily there was no ambush and she didnt have a sniper rifle.
It depends on the state and the reason for the pursuit. I saw a video where ASP chased someone deep into Oklahoma and continued to pursue even after OHP took over the pursuit.

That started in Columbus Georgia which has turned into a huge cesspool with murders almost every day and vehicles being stolen all the time. My son had his truck stolen earlier this year and it was recovered in pieces a few months later. Two were charged with receiving stolen property and the guy that claimed he was innocent actually had the truck sitting in his driveway and both had boosted about just getting off probation a month earlier for other crimes. Glad this truck was recovered in tact
What’s the legality of GSP chasing someone into a other state? Say they catch the suspect isn’t there an extradition that has to occur? What happens with the stollen vehicle, does Alabama have to process the vehicle on their end? This is interesting.
Yes, they technically have no jurisdiction in that state but they can chase subjects into another state and detain them or keep up with them until locals catch up. Almost always dispatch will inform the other state and ask for permission. States are usually pretty good about working together
Look up extradition laws in United States, some criminals wave those rights to a hearings, if not it goes before a judge where almost always the criminal is sent back to the state requesting extradition. That state pays the bills, airfare or driving
Some states fight extradition of another state to try the criminal first, it usually depends on what crimes are worse, murder compared to arm robbery to give a example or a long list of crimes compared to one worse crime. A judge has to rule and each extradition is unique
They can chase all they want but they can’t arrest unless they have a warrant for a felony charge already. In this case they can’t PIT either so all that truck had to do was keep driving until they called it off or the cops lost them. If that was me I would have drove that pickup clean off into them trees in that gravel road and hoped I could find an exit somewhere lol
@@timoshi119 I read the caption wrong where it said they aren’t allowed to do a pit maneuver in a different state. I thought they were insinuating. They’re not allowed to do a pit maneuver at all.

You NEVER EVER leave your vehicle running and unlocked no matter what. Ga Troopers should be able to PIT in adjoining States, just saying
Perhaps someone can enlighten me, I've noticed this on almost all GSP videos, starting at 10:57 you hear little blips of the siren when they get out, anyone know why or what that is?
Yea GSP cars do that ASP cars do that to
So they know where their vehicle is if they chase a suspect into a place or something
I find it almost impossible to believe they actually took action in regard to a stolen vehicle. In California they will do exactly NOTHING about a vehicle theft.
Liberal state car theft not a crime there
Same in Chicago. It’s sad & the criminals know it
The differences between California and America are real!

Love they keep the siren chirping so other officers can find them
I get there’s a 6.2L in the Sierra but should it be pulling on R/T cruisers like that?
More agencies should perform immediate PIT maneuvers like Arkansas state police. No sense in chasing someone all over town, taking a chance of killing an innocent person. The suspect doesn't care about their safety let alone anyone else's. If they are severely injured or killed during a PIT maneuver.....well they should have made better decisions in life and just pulled over.

GSP. : I will chase you to the end of the road !!! Good work Sir 🇯🇲/ ATL
Whoever wired these cars lately did a horrible job. Every time they come to a stop, the siren chirps. 😂
The unfortunate thing about this POS is that once you cross state lines during/after a crime, it no longer becomes Local/State jurisdiction, but FBI jurisdiction.
So apparently nowadays "bush bond" means a suspect ran into the woods? Years ago, it had a completely different meaning. :)
Excellent work GSP
Alabama needs to let Georgia get the job done....
Lesson to be learned, turn off your overheads when chasing someone down a gravel road and you won't be blinded by your own lights.
These LEOs are freaking fearless.
Love seeing chases into another state lol
Crazy how when the Arkansas State Police Chase someone into Memphis they get 0 response from Tennessee or Memphis....but if they chase I30 going to Texas the Texas DPS troopers are waiting at boarder to apprehend...
@@loudelvis610 Memphis is a pretty shit area they probably have like 5 police chases going on at once at any moment lol so that I kinda understand

@@michaeldenson272 Yeah they do
a word to the wise: there are no laws requiring insurers pay for damage, either to any vehicles or property affected by pursuit. and the owner is responsible for recovery of the vehicle once it is abandoned, or seized by police. ie: if you are in VA, and your car turns up in NYC, getting it home is your problem, including paying for parking tickets, towing and impound fees. sucks, but you left it running.
Rocking them knee high shorts lmfao
Anybody know what that is with the siren chirping after the pursuit ended ? Never heard that before.
Ok, then where is Alabama State Patrol ???
YAY the guy gets his truck back.
In one piece
👽Steal a car in Georgia and take it to Alabama?
Who would've guessed?
Nice to see an owner able to get the vehicle back with, apparently, minimum damage. Are insurance rates for vehicles really high in Arkansas?
This is Georgia, not Arkansas.
Y’all quit being scared! The dude done gone in the woods! He wasn’t going to stay there!
We scared to clear the vehicle bc we're surrounded by woods..BHAHAHA
The car at the first exit ramp was running blocker
Good grief cop get your butt in gear!! Whoa we is surrendered by woods! Oh scary!!
Luckily there was no ambush and she didnt have a sniper rifle.
if you think crossing state lines is going to stop them then be my guest and try it out
ASP crosses the bridge and continues the chase. Once they shot two felons.
@@joemungus6063certain states/cities have different policies
It depends on the state and the reason for the pursuit. I saw a video where ASP chased someone deep into Oklahoma and continued to pursue even after OHP took over the pursuit.
It's called "hot pursuit" pretty much allows you to go anywhere, and it's not just for motor vehicles.
is it a plane, is it superman, noo it's an electric truck...
If he laid down in the bushes hopefully chiggers makes a great snack out of him.😂😂😂

About as scared as you are with the lights out walking from your bed to your pisser.

Caught her ass without tearing up the truck. Now she's charged in 2 states meaning she'll have consecutive sentences. Hopefully she takes this opportunity to get off that shit. Everyone wins.
Why do Georgia Troopers rely on relative descriptions like left and right versus cardinal directions (north, south, east, west)?
Cop car seem to have a understeer problem
That started in Columbus Georgia which has turned into a huge cesspool with murders almost every day and vehicles being stolen all the time. My son had his truck stolen earlier this year and it was recovered in pieces a few months later. Two were charged with receiving stolen property and the guy that claimed he was innocent actually had the truck sitting in his driveway and both had boosted about just getting off probation a month earlier for other crimes. Glad this truck was recovered in tact
Great job officer. Good boy K9 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Probably why they called a local deputy to scene
Some states fight extradition of another state to try the criminal first, it usually depends on what crimes are worse, murder compared to arm robbery to give a example or a long list of crimes compared to one worse crime. A judge has to rule and each extradition is unique
They can chase all they want but they can’t arrest unless they have a warrant for a felony charge already. In this case they can’t PIT either so all that truck had to do was keep driving until they called it off or the cops lost them. If that was me I would have drove that pickup clean off into them trees in that gravel road and hoped I could find an exit somewhere lol
$5 if someone can find a video of GSP calling off a chase
it would have to be a motorcycle but even then they still chase
I still think Arkansas or the baddest boys on the road. These guys cannot even do a pit maneuver.
@joshuaricks7730 you must be new here or live no where near GA,I've seen them PIT at 130 as well as get in front of motorcycles and brake check them
@@timoshi119 I read the caption wrong where it said they aren’t allowed to do a pit maneuver in a different state. I thought they were insinuating. They’re not allowed to do a pit maneuver at all.
