Wasnt there a bug in S1 in that room necrotic wake that if a ret pally use devine storm with the legendary it would pull extra mobs too. I know as mage I also experince a bug in that room where i cant blink anywhere in the circle area i would always get blinked sideways
40:14 I've seen that a lot in simple regular dungeon runs. Not even Mythic or Heroic. Just normal. People die once, then leave. Oddly enough, the party usually performs better after they leave. Funny story, me and a couple of friends were hitting some Heroics, and this one dude kept dying on just about every pull. Was spamming the chat with how trash the group was and that we shouldn't requeue. Despite him being dead for most of the run we absolutely stomped the dungeon. In fact, he was the only one who died the entire run. Here's the real kicker, he was the Tank for the party. I play Hunter. I have my abilities macroed so that if the Tank dies, my pet will automatically start Growling. The healer was so giga-chad that every time the Tank died, they would shift focus to heal my pet as the new Tank of the party. Even with the 8 second cooldown my pet was able to keep aggro on entire groups. Didn't hurt that my Misdirection is also macroed to automatically shift to my pet when the Tank dies. My pet? Loque'nahak. My PET was a better tank than that dude in my story.
All this has reminded me was back in season 1 where being any tank that wasn't VDH was absolutely brutal, just got melted by the packs. Feels like such a world away from how strong tanks feel now.
Its hard to believe its the same expansion honestly. Basically a full 180 on tank perspective. Vengeance was just as bad defensively too, it was just the best at establishing threat then kiting.
I was getting destroyed on trash as Brew and wrecked by bosses as prot pally. Sludgefist was just zero stagger to full stagger like every other hit, it was absurd. I was frustrated at having to tank because tanking was just awful. Then my guild went full psycho mode and I was like 'and I'm out.'
I'm glad people like it! I made it in season 1 and it didn't really take off. Kinda got lucky here obviously. I went back and put together one for season 2, since I had all the data there. Published that about 2 weeks ago. Will be doing one for season 4 and moving forward again as well.
OMG, your laughter is absolutely infectious. I've been laughing through out this entire video you are presenting and have no understanding of some of the things or reasons for ending/leaving the key. Except its hilarious. Thank you so much for this. I've a lot to learn because I rarely do mythic dungeons, although I hope to be able to do some soon in a new static group in my guild. We are all bored at this point of the SL Season 4 that we are grasping at things to amuse ourselves with. Currently its actually opening up an LFR with maybe 4 or 5 of us just to get the raid points each week now. But its been fun because of the antics we've seen. Thanks so much. You rock.!! :)
To be completely honest I opened the video and let it play xD as soon as you explained what you’re gonna review, I just prayed it’s a long af video and hell yes it is almost a 50 min video of total prime content right here! I love this stuff, thanks for the content growl ^^
Been watching Metro for +3 years. he is the most chill person I have ever met. Out of the 3-4 years i've been watching Metro, he has only left ONE key, and it was his own. Such an upstanding guy with a world of patience. Definitely recommend Metro if you're looking for a streamer to get personal with. He's reads all messages that come thur the live stream chat and is ALWAYS WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS PLAYERS HAVE ABOUT BLOOD DEATH KNIGHT, TANKING, OR WoW in general! Come stop by and say hello, you will NOT regret it!
Metrohaha singlehandedly destroyed the credibility of the WoW forum MVP program. They left him there so long that people are still talking about "MVP's" when it was all him raising hell on the forum and talking down to everybody. He's the guy who said that if you have an alt and you don't play it for a week, that alt should be permanently deleted from your account.
Agree. I don’t agree with everything he says or does, but I’ll defer to experience. And his attitude about some things is what makes him interesting to pay attention to.
@@shaunybonny688 Thanks for saying so! I always try to encourage people to think for themselves and not blindly follow the meta etc, so its a good thing we have different opinions. Means its working!
The common aspect all these videos have are the amount of professional playing it who never made a mistake and know it all. That's why this game is broken.
Not sure what you are referring to, but want to make it clear my video on this is PURELY about disbands. Has nothing to do with people "knowing it all" just people leaving. Just documenting the facts here, to potentially study the stats from it.
This was such my experience season 1. it was my first season of wow and m+ and it was crazy rough as a blood dk. So many pug groups just left after 10 minutes
I eventually quit SL for TBC classic but I did earn my KSM as a guildless pugging prot paladin in the prideful season. It was honestly very fun and rewarding at the time, especially being the tank and having the bulk of the responsibility for completing the key on time i.e. planning the routes and just not dying. Watching this guy's vids makes me feel A) like I was a pretty good player and B) that I was mostly lucky in inviting or being invited to competent groups. PSA, if you see Azralon/Ragnaros/Goldrinn... RUN
Ehh season 1 was hard, but not that hard tbh. It was just super unfair at the start. Still managed some 20s in time at a time when Blood was the worst its ever been. I'm glad you enjoyed it though! Hopefully you'll give it another try soon!
@@heythereguysitsMetro What a great job you did, thank you so much, im sure that was a lot of work, I have always been a fan of your content, cant wait for season 2
Playing S1 as a holy pally wrecked my soul so bad I didn’t even play S2. This brought me so much joy and laughter because of all the nonsense I experienced that’s funny now that wasn’t funny then. Major kudos to OneAzerothTV for (mostly) keeping his cool and his sanity.
Its a thankless effort most days. You either do a ton of work with no issues and its looked at as "I did my job" or you struggle to do your job and everyone blames you for the key's various failures. But at least for me, I find there is nothing sweeter than the success the tank role can offer. Its insanely empowering to know that at times I can literally solo huge parts of progression dungeons if I play well.
Season 1 was BRUTAL right!? If you enjoyed I also made one for season 2 just recently, and will be returning to this concept for season 4, so looking forward to getting back in the saddle there.
You just gave me PTSD mate. After I got the S1 mount I had to unsubscribe for almost 2 years now. Didn't care about the next 2 patches, just quit and now I'm coming back to Dragonflight.
Not going to lie, I only recently stumbled upon your videos and you're showing me that fun IS possible in retail. Going to go back and have a good laugh from now on :D Thanks for the great content.
Was getting run on some M+ yesterday since just came back to the game. We were on Docks +12 and we should have timed the key but we had a few issues at the end. We still have time to time it and healer whose key it was starts accusing people of not targeting the adds before the boss. If you look at the damage meters it shows ALL of us are majority damage like 80%+ on adds. He is only way that is at like 55% adds and 45% boss. He rage quits and says he isn't going to carry us. We say screw it lets at least finish this key. We play without the healer and finish the last boss without the healer. I died but reincarnated at end of fight and popped Heroism and we burned the boss down. Some people just don't have any chill when mistakes happen on NEW DUNGEONS that have come back and no one quite remembers them exactly.
Ya, the people who talk about carrying while doing 12s lol... Not really much to respect there. Sorry you had to deal with it, but glad you finished it anyway.
I've got a similar spreadsheet going, but it was for specifically listing players to avoid (with a reason) rather than just documenting failed keys. Funny enough, I saw two names that made both of our lists, for similar reasons.
I'm from Oce and I had to stop pugging with players outside of Oce because often they'd complain about "lag" and make constant mistakes. And in higher mythics most things will nearly 1shot you as dps/healer so... mistakes can't be made 🤷♂️
@@Ssonelol That's the right call, tbh. People boot players from Rag (and others I'm not recalling atm) specifically because of this. If I'm healing and have 0.5-1.0 of delay on EVERY healing spell, I'm not going to have fun even if we somehow clear it.
@@Encorey- I think tanking is more fun but also a lot more stressful as you're expected to know everything about the dungeon and routing. The stress of the responsibility is what got to me. Healing gave me a lot of the same satisfaction of tanking without the anxiety.
Aw I love metro I’ve gotten into a few keys with him over the years he’s been streaming. I remember him announcing this spreadsheet back at the end of BFA, he had a weak aura to remind him to record the games. Funny, I’ve always been a fan of his, but I remember thinking why the hell would he ever need this spreadsheet. Here we are years later and growl fucking using it for content. God damn metro, playing the long game paid off, never doubting you again homie, lol.
I am not a streamer but I wrote down every single leaver or toxic player name since SL started. So I will not play with them again.pug life is terrible. Maining a Mw in SL was the worst so far the amount of hate comments I got is crazy. I also took screenshots of some of them. Blizzard has to punish these leavers. I am currently 3302 but don't think I will try to push more this season
I think the most important thing to note about tank mains is the variety of takes either on routes, pulls or the general pacing in keys. That's why I have a huge respect for Metro and the content he provides, even though we share very different views on many things. Tanks should learn from each other, especially in the world of pug keys. Cheers to you both!
Honestly, that healer they kicked making it to 3k+ just shows that even the worst players can still improve if they care enough to. Also, sometimes, you're just gonna catch someone on a really bad day.
He should send his spreadsheet directly to Blizzard so they can finally understand what playing their game is actually like. While most runs are smoother than these ones, none of that stuff is atypical.
It sounds like a try hard is mad the not everyone knows every single comp and spec combination to play for every single pull in every single mythic dungeon
Things to fix this problem? 1. Design affixes differently, like has been begged for basically since the start. They've heard the criticism and some of the ones they created since are great, others are just misery and the lack of pug communication is almost the exact way to exacerbate them. 2. Bring back the community council with trusted members so having a bitch fit would have actual consequences like on a third strike of the highest degree of disruptive and unwarranted behavior an up to 1 week long account wide m+ embargo could be implemented. Obviously that should be the guillotine hanging over people's heads and not actually given out very often. Its very odd that people will literally police the game for free for Blizzard, it could easily be designed to be done in an open and transparent manner, while using a specific crowd selected for being ideal community members and still they decline. Paying employees literally nothing sounds like Bobby's biggest fetish. 3. Keep the common mechanics tied to mistakes that cause rage in mind when designing dungeons, and while they should still be there the avenues to solve them should be more pronounced at an earlier part of the dungeon to teach players how to get around them in a later part of the dungeon. That's pretty typical of what is applauded as good game design, when a game makes it intuitive of how to handle the situation later based on previous experience, even when turning up the difficulty or adding extra mechanics to it. Even if the answer is simple to many because "this is just like Stonecore" Or "same mechanic as the one boss in Nighthold" you cant assume players have played those before. 4. Ramp the difficulty through the dungeon. Making the opening pull of a dungeon a "death pull" is sort of setting groups up for failure since they have no time previously to establish teamwork, get a feel for each other, etc. They start out with a few deaths and start getting agitated. It doesn't mean everything needs to be easy early on but the amount of wipes in the first 2 packs of Mists is not really a great sign. Make the first few packs moderately difficult so that if a player is weaker(which in pugs, there WILL be a weaker player sooner or later)the rest of the group can notice and begin to compensate. The healer can notice "this tank doesnt use CD's early I have to be ready with mine" or the tank can notice "this rogue doesnt target swap to kick well, I'll have to watch that caster" instead of just "2 large mobs 4 small ones all of them have a dangerous cast and 2 decoy spells, better get it right first try, good luck." 5. Talk down to someone on RUclips for hoping to influence change because you're not creative enough to sit down for 5 minutes and think of ways to improve the system yourself.
@@TehDuckOfDoom the dude who made the spreadsheet advocates for bans and shit for leaving m+ runs. I personally don’t think anything should really change but I can see how some people disagree with that.
This guy was playing the weakest tank in a season where dungeons and affixes were overtuned to fuck on top of noone knowing any mechanics. He's not really my vibe but I'll be damned if he doesn't deserve my respect.
I want to give some credit to the mage that walked off the ledge to his death at the begining of DoS. Been there done that... As a rogue i did the mistake of runing down the stairs on the ledge with sprint on, due the incresed speed you get launched off the edge with 0 control over your character. 1 hell of a funny moment and 1 of my biggest shames yet lol
I had to rewatch that extra pull necrotic wake part like 10 times to see it was the ret paladin projected divine storm that went off on a journey and pulled that other pack. Can even tell because the mobs beeline for him and kill him. I suspect the healer hit enter to type something about it but tried to revert to healing and well, failed.
BRO... I love Mythic + and I have never watched any of your videos... Within 10 minutes I was DYING omg... I love these videos guys please send him more like these. Was awesome
I ended up making a season 2 and a season 4 version of this from Shadowlands, but I don't expect Growl to watch them all. We will be doing it all again in Dragonflight though, so perhaps I'll see you there!
I love watching suffering when it's not me!! Best quote ever 😂🤣 nothing better than hearing Growl loose his shit laughing at this stuff!! Man I feel better about my early seasons healing 🤣😂😜
Not gonna lie I could watch this all day, I actually only recently stumbled across that dude you are watching. He has a damn good channel imo. Interesting focus on mythic plus commentation.
I get they want people to be good at the game, but saying things like 'poisoning the game' because people aren't top players? The entitlement of this playerbase is real. It's ok to be bad at a video game, they don't have to stay out of the areas you are in because you say so. It's how you practice and get better
@@heythereguysitsMetro yea. You're also skimming over that most players don't actually know how to play WoW as well. They read guides from players who do know how to play. Frequently though, they aren't absorbing this information. They're just reading and regurgitating like a school test. If they see another player doing some they haven't seen in the guide, they get mad cos they think they're playing wrong cos they don't understand how to play dynamically. I know cos I am one of these dynamic players. I'm too lazy to write guides, but I'm the guy who finds play patterns that others copy and then add to guides. So I can see when a player is technically capable but not dynamic. Similarly you can see dynamic players who are bad but still learning. I prefer to play with the 2nd type of player, as they tend to be kind and learning, and will be skillful with time. It's a nice feeling when you encounter another experienced and dynamic player. You can recognise each other and sometimes you'll even get a whisper from someone who acknowledges you cos they can do it too.
50% of the player base will always be average or worse - it’s a very easy to understand proposition. For so long the end game has been M+ which key by key focusses on a smaller and smaller group of players, to the detriment of a key by key increasing majority of players who are cut out of the game until next season where they can fail again. Just … the whole system is bad. It is inherently, bad sweaty competitive, pseudo esport, member measuring BS. This shouldn’t be what endgame is focussed on, it’s a sideshow in an RPG.
They can play at their level then, but to get into high end content you’re expected to play high end especially if it’s optional, nobody is mad if you’re a LFR Andy.. but stick to your lane, I’m overweight, I’m not joining triathlons.
The spreadsheet idea is definitely cool and it creats very fun to see content; I gave a quick look at it and at some keys and I gotta say (as I expected since I used to watch this guy) he states as the reason of depletion/disband the last thing that happened, failing to mention several mistakes he himself has made through some of these keys. He definitely pugs a lot and I can see him having absorbed some of that pug attitude where you fail to own up to some of your fails.
No, you are just misunderstanding the point. The goal is not to figure out why the run did not upgrade the key. Its why the run disbanded. The ONLY thing that contributes to that is the person leaving in my eyes. People make mistakes all the time, and you can still continue. Many mistakes will also not even mean the key is out of time. Any run where things just generally aren't going well, no matter who is at fault, I list as Mutual Disband. And as perhaps you might have missed, I placed blame on me squarely for many too, as many of them were my direct fault that leads to the disband. I believe I was exceedingly fair with that honestly. Many others make mistakes too, but i hold myself to a higher standard so I would take the blame over them just for that. But in general, some one failing something 10 minutes into the key is not the reason some one leaves 25 minutes in, so asking that is not fair of you. There will be plenty of errors in every key, even upgrades. Its the selfish behavior we were looking to illustrate with this sheet though.
@@heythereguysitsMetro Several mistakes happening 10 minutes in can definitely be the reason why someone decides to leave 25 minutes in (for example people losing patience seeing people making mistakes all the time); yes leavers suck and they basically declare your key as depleted once they leave but playing better in general lowers that chance; it may be sad but it's the truth; sorry to say but I also do find your behaviour to not be the best (memories of when I used to watch your streams) in placing blame and choice of words. That being said I won't reply anymore cause I believe we fundamentally disagree and there's nothing wrong with that but no way we can find a middle ground.
@@marcoiaselli Ya, just wanted to make it clear that the goals of the spreadsheet was to signal who was the first to leave and why basically. If you expect me to rewatch 100+ runs meticulously and document every single mistake, that's just not realistic. That would take weeks of time. But the good thing is, this spreadsheet can act as a template for others to use, so you can take up that torch if you see fit. Past that, I believe I am EXCEEDINGLY fair. I make a ton of mistakes myself, but will never leave a key, so perhaps that has jaded me to those who make less mistakes but are quick to leave over others. That may be the "fundamental disagreement" we have there. I don't really care if I make 40 mistakes and some one else leaves after making zero. They are the offender in my eyes. That is what this spreadsheet represents, and I did the best I could to explain that, or so I thought. Feel free to reply with your thoughts though. Disagreements are fine, and I would like to learn ways I can improve the spreadsheet for subsequent seasons. Other than sinking hundreds of more hours into this, that is. That I just can't do.
I had a similar experience with my man named Slimebaby in Dos, guy had 9 deaths through Arden wing and when we got to mechagon he got knocked off by none other than the slime pipes and left the group before he was pronounced dead. The shame was too heavy on his heart.
I feel like anyone who's pugging with healers or tanks in M+ will slowly lose hope in humanity. I mean, 28% depleted keys, that's just... Every almost every third dungeon run is a failure.
Worst part about it is half those disbands all came in the second half of the seasons. Meaning for a few months about 50 percent of keys are a disband.
@@heythereguysitsMetro yeah, at least quick leavers won't waste time. And the IO is not helping at all too, like I keep seeing people with 2500+ ratings who don't know the mechanics. I stop M+ after getting the achievement cuz it's pain.
@@patrickstar1164 2500 rating is low and can't be trusted because of all the ksm buyers. Most keys with pugs, definitely not all, get better at around +18 and up, that's where I started finding people that knew mechanics and actually used their defensives when needed (I play healer).
@@caroqt I play healer too. People die because of boss cast that they are supposed to interrupt, and then chat "why we took mistweaver to the team? Hpala would do this ez."
It was SOO fun to watch him watch these. He went on to watch it for at least another hour after this ends too. I actually just went and made another sheet and video for season 2 as well so maybe he will also end up watching those.
I find it really interesting the fixation on "the final moment" and not being hugely behind on time/deaths. Like, I picked this up early on - People start to bail once there's 5-10 deaths because they don't want to try and see if the remaining time can hit the goal or not. I hate the mentality, but I do understand it.
I tried to call those moments "mutual disbands." meaning like everyone agrees its not worth continuing. But many times everyone wants to continue even despite the issues and one guy decides for everyone else. So that's how it gets marked down.
Love this video haha. 😂 Although I have to be honest... When it gets to the point where one person is blamed and raged on for the wipe, just because he doesn't have a PHD in mythic+ and choose a talent "wrong", it's too much for me. 😅 I think I'll stick to being mediocre at the game, and play with other mediocre people who has fun while they play. It gets WAAAAAYYY too serious at this point for me. 😂 Not trying to throw shade at people who takes the game THIS serious, and does m+ 20s hehe. It's clearly just how the game is at that high level, and it's what you sign up for if you wanna play at a elite level. It's just not something I find attractive in a game like WoW. 😅 Or at least I'd play with friends I know, and not strangers in PUGs. 🙂
If you are talking about the DOS, that one doesn't require a PHD. It would only require a highshcool diploma at best. Taking Trees on necrotic week is the most obvious decision you could ever make. This spell is so powerful it really should not even be a talent, because it just confuses people into thinking something unrealistic. The problem in that key though is I asked that guy to take them, and he told me he would, then switched back at the last moment because he was selfish. That's why I was so upset. has nothing to do with his talents, just that he lied to me.
@@heythereguysitsMetro That is of course very understandably a reason to get upset. I got the impression from the video that "he was purely an idiot for not knowing beforehand". Him agreeing beforehand for him to use that talent is a VERY different situation. 🙂 Though it is still too elite for me to do keys like that hehe
@@KroesGaming Well don't feel like you can't. This is a very hard key on a very hard week we are talking about. I know it might not look like it, but above 10 early in the expansion like this was quite advanced. You can easily play at the 15 or even 20 level now without any concern. Anyone can do it, and if you think you need help to do so, my channel is dedicated to helping people reach their goals, so just let me know if you have any questions or need any assistance.
I loved running keys with voice. Usually that meant running with guildmates and friends which was nice, but voice is what makes the difference for me. A guild group without voice chat is barely better for me than a pug group without. On the rare occasions I can get pugs to join a voice chat its almost always a better experience. I simply cannot heal and type to communicate so I just don't unless I HAVE to and then it's generally too late to save any chaos. While in voice though you can actually communicate and save things that might be going bad and share tactics so the DPS isn't blindsided when the tank does something different than the usual. There is a deep pool of community knowledge that is incredibly hard to pick up just by playing silently and seeing where things go wrong. There's also the simple fact that there really are a lot of interesting people playing this game and voice chat can make even a rough key a whole lot more fun. It can also help you identify earlier the folks that are just to toxic to deal with (because yes, I know they're there). I haven't played wow since 9.0 and while I have my reasons, pushing M+ was my favorite part of the game and I still miss it.
@@heythereguysitsMetro Tbh, I think people think the same about you too tho, everyone thinks they're "the best" at X content or X spec, but let's be real, we all fucking sucks at the end of day.
That part where they are shitting on him for his spec. Imagine joining a group knowing full well what other peoples specs are and then shitting on them when it doesn't go well.
Mythic plus with four affixes were wild. I (monk tank / druid tank) never did higher than 18 in shadowlands, highest pug was maybe 15. I honestly like the system now with only 3 ones at +14 more. It's not just pure frustration anymore, just sometimes ^^.
Ya its funny he thought because I wasn't commenting on anything key related that it was me being checked out or something, but he didn't realize that that's just what my stream is like. I spend so much time reading chat that I almost can't focus on the keys haha Its good, but also bad.
You are making two key mistakes here. Number 1, you are confusing a disband and a "deplete." We are not showcasing the "depletes" just the disbands. They ARE different, although many players (like yourself?) seem to not realize that. You can absolutely finish a key that is not in time and still get something out of doing it. Number 2, you are thinking that some how its just me experiencing a lot of disbands, and the guys I am blaming them on are not. We don't know what their success metrics look like, because they aren't recording them, and neither is Blizzard. But surely you can see their behavior as an issue in these keys at the very least as much as anything else. Please also remember, these were "sub 20s" in the hardest season ever, at the very beginning of that season. You can compare to my progress now, and reference the spreadsheet if you want to see which of the problems is me and which isn't. I WISH it was a case of me getting some how good enough to just carry every single key I enter, but obviously if you watch these moments, the players around me acting like they do is something I can not control. I am not, nor do I care to be, the best player ever. But I never leave a single key myself, so just based on that fact and the fact that this discussion is about the disbands, no I am not only not the most common denominator, I am actually the least common denominator. I recognize that many times I do things that cause people to tilt, and because this new generation of wow players have zero control of their own emotions, that likely means the key is over. But still, my mistakes do not directly correlate to people leaving. That is a choice they made. Hope that clears that up!
Glad you like it! We recently added all of the recorded runs of Season 2 in there as well, and will be getting back to this for season 4 and onwards. bigplay.one/mythiclibrary for the full sheet!
i think the timer should stop when all members are at the beginning of the dungeon, whenever there is a wipe you feel like you dont have time to discuss strategy and are forced to keep doing the same mistakes or explain in short bursts which alot of the time comes of as blaming someone. Maybe add 3 party wide talent changes or something aswell in case you are wiping and are discussing a new strategy with different talents
@@jtowensbyiii6018 your lack of ability to have civil discourse without using childish insults will get you no where. As far as the DK man goes, he's already been told once before I wont humor him with any responses in our previous engagements.
@@jtowensbyiii6018 Its funny, I was scrolling through these comments and saw that there were replies here, but I didn't understand this person's response. Then I went back to my channel to see if we had interacted there, and I see the issue now. I made a video on a warlock DPS who leaves after a single pack had been pulled because he didn't like the route, and this person took great exception to me acting like its a problem with DPS players. They ranted on why there are tanks and healers who do the same thing, but I corrected them by saying that tanks and healers would never leave because of a route not being pulled the way they want. That is a DPS issue, and a result of those DPS players only being there to flex on the meters, not actually upgrade the key. It didn't go anywhere from there, and the person said "they won't reply again" but here I see them smack talking me on other channels too lol... So no, I didn't "blame entire groups of players for the acts of one." I just stated a big issue with DPS player mentality that many fall into, and ironically just this last week Ion (the game director) stated that he actually agreed with me, saying that many players are just after parsing instead of actual success in the game they designed. Was one of those situations where I am arguing one point, and this person had a point tangential to my original point and tried to force me to argue about their point instead, but it wasn't relevant to the video. The point of that video was that those types of players who are literally playing the game wrong should not be allowed to continue doing that, and something needs to change. People leaving for other selfish reasons sucks too, but this is something else entirely, and Furball did not seem to understand the difference.
No one is perfect, me among them. I try to keep my "toxicity" to the stream purely though. I think its fine to vent to yourself, right? Or do you think that if I am frustrated I should just say nothing?
I'd rather you don't, at the very least don't type it in the ingame chat. If that's too much to ask, then you-ve got issues. If you think it's normal, then you'd fit well in the League of Legends community. There are plenty of streamers who manage to vent in a way that doesn't come off as toxic.
I find it funny how so many ppl say "I don't agree with everything he says, but he is great". I think that that is exactly one of the masterful things Metro does... bringing his own ideas even if they are controversial or ppl might not agree. Everyone these days thinks you need to be of the same opinion as everyone else as though having a differing one makes you an outcast. But that's exactly how new ways of thinking are brought about... people having actual discussions about stuff they are interested in with different view points and then maybe both sides will learn something new. Otherwise we just clap each other on the back and nobody learns anything.
I think that is a novel way of thinking about it, I've been getting back into his content again recently so when this came up I was delighted Although I will say, no I don't agree with all of his takes, I do commend his ability to demonstrate that you can think for yourself and have success
I'm so glad some one recognizes that. I try hard to encourage critical thought so you guys disagreeing is literally exactly what I want haha. Just following some one else's opinion is how you stop learning.
I feel this guy so much, I also stared SL with the hope of doing M+ as a DK. I also started Nightfae because better DnD seemed like the right choice for the content. Then I was told (several times) to go "KYS" for playing trash DK in M+. Such a lovely time being M+ pug tank, where you are required to know all the routes, do all the jobs ideally heal the party as well so they can just afk and pump deeps while standing in sanguine (which is your fault obviously).
Tanking can be thankless but, especially as blood, the power you have in the content is the reward I am after. Hope you will give it another try and if you have any questions let me know! I try to help everyone and anyone get what they seek out of M+.

In 6 years of pugging weekly, that was the wildest one I have seen tbh.

@@rebemma8643 Mistweavers aren't even bad healers, their dps is just low compared to Shaman/Priest. Sad to hear you face so much hate.

Thanks man!
So they would do what?
It sounds like a try hard is mad the not everyone knows every single comp and spec combination to play for every single pull in every single mythic dungeon
What do you propose they do to fix this problem?
The healer can notice "this tank doesnt use CD's early I have to be ready with mine" or the tank can notice "this rogue doesnt target swap to kick well, I'll have to watch that caster" instead of just "2 large mobs 4 small ones all of them have a dangerous cast and 2 decoy spells, better get it right first try, good luck."

I had to rewatch that extra pull necrotic wake part like 10 times to see it was the ret paladin projected divine storm that went off on a journey and pulled that other pack. Thanks, there is sooo much good stuff out there this season!
I get they want people to be good at the game, but saying things like 'poisoning the game' because people aren't top players? The entitlement of this playerbase is real. It's ok to be bad at a video game, they don't have to stay out of the areas you are in because you say so. It's how you practice and get better
Sadly very few players do any practicing. They just leave and hop into the next group and do pretty much the same behavior.
Agreed. And apparently not picking a specific talent is trolling? The entitlement...
This was way more entertaining than I thought it would be

That's hilarious. Those moments are so funny man, I wish they happened to me more often honestly.

That was one of the most visually funny things I have ever seen in this game tbh!

So glad you guys like it! Its brutal at times but its all worth it if you guys love it
I find it really interesting the fixation on "the final moment" and not being hugely behind on time/deaths.
I remember watching these streams in s1, 10/10 content. It’s a pugs world and metros just living in it.

Yep
37:00 is exactly why I was so incredibly paranoid about using starfall.
Starfall should only hit targets you are in combat with, but maybe some times it fails!
We need part 2 3 4 5 and so on. This is so much fun
The "this is gunna be a fucking wipe here probly" at 16:40 had me crying hes so done
I use to be in his guild and loved every second playing with him! Miss him
Miss you too man, glad to hear from you :D
Back to this banger on 2024 because WHY NOT
:D I love that guy! He has a great stream.
Glad you enjoy!
This is golden content, been watching metro since end of BFA :D
Metro is a badass tank , he gets the most out of this game
Thanks man, I truly love the game. Some times these pugs make it hard though :/
@@heythereguysitsMetro Tbh, I think people think the same about you too tho, everyone thinks they're "the best" at X content or X spec, but let's be real, we all fucking sucks at the end of day.
@@ZeroiusProduction I'm talking more about the slam dunk ones like people leaving within 3 minutes of a key, but ya you are generally correct.
@@heythereguysitsMetro That's also true, i've had / been one of those, but that's only in rare cases tbh.
@@ZeroiusProduction Not for me sadly haha
Would love to see more of this!
Blood DKs can be scary to heal because you don't know which DK you got til he either beastmodes pack after pack or he just goes splat
That part where they are shitting on him for his spec. Imagine joining a group knowing full well what other peoples specs are and then shitting on them when it doesn't go well.
44:47 people forget how RIDICULOUS the dot from that boss was in season 1. The hunter just dies outright to the dot ticking him down in seconds.
Metro is always hellllla toxic
How so?
Mythic plus with four affixes were wild. I (monk tank / druid tank) never did higher than 18 in shadowlands, highest pug was maybe 15. I honestly like the system now with only 3 ones at +14 more. It's not just pure frustration anymore, just sometimes ^^.
"His soul is just gone from pugging 10-15s tanking" Can confirm. my Source: me.
Ya its funny he thought because I wasn't commenting on anything key related that it was me being checked out or something, but he didn't realize that that's just what my stream is like. I spend so much time reading chat that I almost can't focus on the keys haha
Its good, but also bad.
"Poor healer" Fr healers get this horrible babysitting gig 24/7 in any game ngl xD
I could watch you react to his videos forever 😂
I just got finished making another one for season 2 then, maybe he will watch that one live too!
@@heythereguysitsMetro it’s funny because I remembered watching a few of those live on your channel
@@jameshall8711 Ya they were legendary honestly
One of the best WoW videos I've ever seen I watch it every time the Algo gives it to me 😂
This honestly is one of mine too. He adds such humor to something already hilarious.
Honestly, if all of these sub +20 keys are depleting, the common denominator is obviously the guy with all of the depleted keys. Dude is garbo, imo.
Hope that clears that up!
holy moly, this has to be one of the best vids i seen in a long time
why is this waffle cat complaining about wipes, I like when things are clean
this is such good content watching clips on the spread sheet lol
Glad you like it! We recently added all of the recorded runs of Season 2 in there as well, and will be getting back to this for season 4 and onwards. bigplay.one/mythiclibrary for the full sheet!
i think the timer should stop when all members are at the beginning of the dungeon, whenever there is a wipe you feel like you dont have time to discuss strategy and are forced to keep doing the same mistakes or explain in short bursts which alot of the time comes of as blaming someone. Maybe add 3 party wide talent changes or something aswell in case you are wiping and are discussing a new strategy with different talents
this shit is fucking gold, the mage at the end was so queeny made me smile a big dumb grin.
one of my favorite things I have ever seen in M+, that mage! Glad you enjoyed it!
That guy is toxic AF. Blames entire groups of players for the acts of one.
What examples do you have of that?
Going to explain or cry and run?
@@jtowensbyiii6018 your lack of ability to have civil discourse without using childish insults will get you no where. As far as the DK man goes, he's already been told once before I wont humor him with any responses in our previous engagements.
@@FurballTTV youre literally a fake RUclips profile trolling someone, man up or stfu
"i love watching suffering when its not me." is that a sociopath I see here? xd
Is it bad that two seasons later i see the same mistakes?
Yes.
The best part of that Mists key. @21:00 is that the blood dk was Night Fae....
Sorry but, that tank is a pretty toxic guy as well, doesn't matter is he's a great tank.
This take is so hot sea levels rose 3" the moment it was written.
This content is the best. Can't wait for more of this
I find it funny how so many ppl say "I don't agree with everything he says, but he is great".
I think that is a novel way of thinking about it, I've been getting back into his content again recently so when this came up I was delighted
Although I will say, no I don't agree with all of his takes, I do commend his ability to demonstrate that you can think for yourself and have success
I'm so glad some one recognizes that. I try hard to encourage critical thought so you guys disagreeing is literally exactly what I want haha.
Just following some one else's opinion is how you stop learning.
Man, now I wish I‘d done a list of this. Hmmm maybe i think about it for DF.
We need more of this !
I hope he will eventually do more. I have a LOT more of this he can review. This was only scratching the surface!
An blizz response was: Oi, mate yo seem to be strugglin as a BDK in M+... Here have some stormin' to cheer ye up yee ficker.
Also "I love wwatching suffering when its not me," is the quintessential WoW line.
Tanking can be thankless but, especially as blood, the power you have in the content is the reward I am after. Hope you will give it another try and if you have any questions let me know! I try to help everyone and anyone get what they seek out of M+.
