I still have the one that I bought over 30 years ago. It was about 100 bucks. The one drawback is the record has to be fairly flat that’s because it fits in that slot and if there’s any major record warp the album itself then would be slowing it down. But it sounded really pretty good through headsets and it was my main turntable for my system in the 1990s. Wow $1000? Well mine is special and it’s on the market for one meallion dollars! Sony went a little bit nuts because they included a lanyard that fits around your neck and clip to the top of the player so you could physically walk down the street with your headphones just totally grooving to vinyl. Bring back the VinylMan!
When I first saw the ps f5 in 2015-2016 the price’s ware around 500-700 and now they are 1000-2000, I am hoping that the prices will drop sometime soon
@@NeonPolygons I mean at some point the preamp, amp, and speakers are very good and you start hearing motor noise or would like more defined bass or clearer channel separation. Many people tell me this vertical turn table isn't the best when it comes to high end turntables but I love how it looks so much. I wonder what are the main aspects that make this one not worth the money. I can grab one for 450 to 600 CAD but at that price range I can also pick up a very very good Sony. I wish there was an easy way to compare.
