I really think they need to put the names of all players in the NHL on the Stanley Cup every year for participation... Why don't people wear helmets and face guards when driving cars? Imagine all the accidents that have occurred where a helmet or face guard would of protected them! Just another crybaby example of how people think they are evolving something, but are actually going backwards.

What happens when someone gets a puck in the chest, now kevlar vests...then arm protection because jerseys can be cut very easily. It's no different than bad parenting where the parent thinks they can protect their kids from getting hurt forever, which causes the opposite reaction. The fact is if something is going to happen it will, no matter how many people think they are going to save that one life by changing something. Do you realize how many deaths occur a year caused by seatbelts and airbags?
