Mark, you’re awesome dude. I’ll listen out for you on TV. Chuck, you are the conductor man, my Cuban conductor bro. Stacy I’m gonna work on my choreography every time I watch you and get a little better. Regarding large file sans did you ever try mail drop, it’s built into Apple‘s ecosystem. You send a large file enable mail drop and it acts just like an FTP server. Check it out man. It’s free.

It´s great that you make these series, but I would love to take a look at your signal chair, your mixing and editing process into how to make it sound all great. I know that I don´t personally own any of these expensive microphones and recording devices, but I want to take a look and learn from all of this. I want to learn about setting up a microphone and everything for a voice over from like noise gate, compressor, eq, etc.
Ok so if I could ever afford a professional demo, Chuck and Stacey are the couple I would save and scrimp for because I would have full trust in their kindness and truth. Yay!!! This was truly a life changing moment for me.

Believe me when I tell you that process brought goosebumps and gasps as I'm witnessing (for the first time) this process!!!! I am new to VO and I'm currently in training with 'Such A Voice' and my demos are going to be professionally recorded within the next 2 weeks. I am deeply moved by the passion of the direction by Chuck and Stacey in this process and Mark Collins is so talented, I have no words. My timbre is a little higher so my niche will be reality tv promos (.10 and .15) so I'm super excited for this process. Also, I do have a speech impediment (stutter) however when I have a script in my hands, I'm in my studio behind the mic and I hit record, something in my head just swtiches on and the magic begins. I am looking forward to meeting you Chuck and Stacey because I believe in never stop learning this amazing craft. (Also Chuck, when I register through your website and you call me......and you hear heavy breathing......it's just me having difficulty with my 'H's" LOL 😀) I know that I'm going to be successful in VO and I'm very excited for this journey. (One more sidebar, I thoroughly enjoyed you and Stacey on Clubhouse last night! Super informative.....Thank you!)

Can I ask what the deal is using 'known' material ie re-voicing existing promos etc is? Also will Mark get to use the material as videos too or just audio?
Agents want to hear real promos on Demos so they can hear what you actually sound like on different networks. So we write it all and produce it in the style of each network. This is industry standard. And yes mark will be able to use audio and video which he did all the editing on by the way. Thank you for the comment 👍

I've watched this 10x and the ONE and MOST importantly FACTOR here is that Chuck & Stacey make the session FUN & ENJOYABLE where you don't want to stop. All I have heard from around the VO community is that it's a terrifying experience 😳 but watching this puts me at ease......(now I know every experience is different with different producers but as a person who stutters in cold reads, this puts away all my fears). Hello Guys, can you please make a video specifically about post processing of VO sample (how to Compress & EQ VO)
There are lots of other videos on RUclips about that.
@@vobuzzweekly but I want you to make it as other videos don't focus particularly on Voice Over types (narration or promo etc), chuck has mastery on voice-overs eq so we can surely gain some awesome knowledge about editing voice in post.
Im sure you have heard Chuck say in many videos, he was going to "add some Secret Sauce"..... that is years & years of Chuck's experience with his trained ear & backed up by tech & equipment to develope his skill to get the best from each individual voice in the post production. Its what makes Chuck so great & seperates him from the rest........... its like your asking Coca Cola to reveal thier "Secret Ingrediant".............

That was cool. Can you describe your AV routing?
The session was recorded on a Sennheiser 416 routed through a Symetrix 528E Voice Processor with almost no compression & into my Adobe Audition DAW via a Behringer 16 Track USB mixer...........after that Chuck did all the magic in post production. Thanks for asking the question, hope this helps.

That was WAY too much fun. I love how Stacey and Chuck keep it loose for the talent. They're both so supportive, always positive. Top notch writing, top notch directing, top notch talent, a winning combination. It never ceases to amaze me how well the audio fits the video later on in post. I built a soundproof studio booth in my new home, it was a lot of work but in 6 months it was finally ready, it was worth all that hard work.
all together cost a total of 3000 euros including wood / MDF plate / cables / group box / sockets / light switches and of course also a soundproof door and thin carpet for the outside.
the inside dimensions are depth/width/height: 200x250x220 cm

That was brilliant! The camaraderie was brilliant. That was truly a team effort. Stacy, encouraging Marc to use his body animations to help was very apparently great advice. Chuck, as _always_ , you managed to direct without demeaning and keep a keen ear out while focusing on the finished result. That was amazing! In the final demo, Mark really DOES come across like different people. Stacey's copy is so clean: most VO talent will be spoiled after this! And chuck's direction, as usual, was perfectly crafted for each piece of copy. Mark walked in with the right approach for the different reads; Chuck pinpointed them until they were right on target. Fabulous!
