Wow Curtis, As a Meisner trained actor myself, she is legit. I agree with everything she said (and HOW she said it), because there's a fundamental difference to the voice when you feel REAL emotion. That's what creates the connection to your audience, in every medium. Bravo for this nod to the "talent", because content IS king and if you haven't had a chance to work with gifted actors on set, it's like getting paid twice. We happy few...
The TLM mic or dynamic ones your space has to be really treated to use it or it may not matter how talented you are it may not sound good. I have a shotgun mic because of the very small Space I have. Maybe a few years down the road this might be an option? Love Lili she is so engaging! Dream coach… definitely🤔
Yes, but treating with sound blankets can be done for about $200 USD which will be good enough if you don't have a lot of noise being generated in the same building.
