Actually, she was boxed in and powerless to make a move - until there was an opening. I'm betting she was forced to hold back while boxed in, affording her that last burst of speed in the last 30 meters.

That was a super impressive race from Wilson. She took the lead, got passed, didnt panic, then outstrided at the perfect time after spotting that gap. Well, well done.
