This is my entry for the first round of IYS and the emotions that I wanna show is detachment.
What I mean by detachment:
"Person experiences everything in his life from a distance. His idealized self-image will probably be one of the rational philosopher who has little need for what he sees as trifling emotions."
I hope I didn't completely missed the point of the round, coz being distant is also emotion, right? :D
I want people to feel "empty" after this vid (just as Rust is most of the time) and if I managed that than my mission is complete :)

I am a 29yo Rust Cohle... even prior to seeing TD. Genius.
They should start handing out oscars for tv performances, because McConnaughey and Harrelson offered some of the finest acting I've seen in years in this show. And creating a character like Rust Cohle, Pizzolatto should have gotten one too.

Long before this show I tried to explain to my son that I believe we are all born into the same life over and over. Recently he told me he believes the same. I dream of people places and events but they're abstract. Like it's a riddle of some kind and when they seep into this reality I often wonder if maybe a part of us does remember. By far the most disturbing dream was a year ago. A childhood friend of mine who passed away recently came to me in a dream with a message. Two words, ' they're coming'. Then she turned and walked away. I don't dwell on my dreams because you change the future but I feel at least you can be prepared to some extent
