I did some research that indicated that the Travel niche is not best for affiliate marketing? Yet that's what I am interested in for a blog/website. There are a lot of subniches under travel which would be great for a website but I would have to figure out how to monetize maybe with Shopify?. Would I need to create also another site for affiliate marketing if I want to monetize?

Within travel, there are so many niches. You definitely have product-market fit there
