I am glad they finally uploaded this video. I have enjoyed watching this build. That boy is so happy and I'm sure he will be the coolest kid in school now. I miss watching Stacey on Sundays from when I was a teenager
These three-episode builds are great because they are projects that any of us can do, even in today's era, and have a unique ride. Tomb Raider looks good. If I remember when they did a recap episode, at the time the kid that got this Jeep was still wheelin' it on the weekends and having fun.
Am I the only one thinking he should have painted the edges of all the drilled holes in this build? He painted the welds and section of the frame he modified, but not the snorkel or seat belt holes. It's funny, I always remembered the Jeep being stainless or silver. This was fun to watch and makes me want to go work on my JT.
Daddy opened his wallet BIG TIME for this project. I bet Bobby has long destroyed this beauty since and is holding down a $15 night stocker position at The Walmart now
Just make sure you don't bind those 35"s up on any parking lot curbs. Since most "built" Jeeps never even see gravel let alone rocks. Stock axles are definitely going to pop unless it's a Dana 44 or stronger.
It was nice to upgrade all that, but I'd have thought replacing the drive shafts and front axle would be way more important than replacing seats and adding tube doors. Those stock drive shafts cannot handle a 4" lift and 35" tires.
Hey Stacey, please show Stellantis how to build a Jeep, without the "DEATH WOBBLE "because they are obviously using inferior parts and don't know what they are doing
Love Stacy, David love what he did to that jeep, just seems like they did this for a privileged kid. Would’ve been cooler to pick a kids jeep that had no means. Just saying it was very awesome.

Me too, but I was in my 30s
These comments making me realize how old I am 😂 I remember watching these episodes when they came out. Stacey was the best host IMO
Man i miss this show when spike tv was running the whole lineup was great!!!
When Danica Patrick was the hostess ❤

I think that damn ditch has been a part of all our families 😂😂
Son comes off as a spoiled rich kid
***weeps silently in Dana 35***
RIP axle shafts.
This TJ was peak daily driver in the 2000’s.
kids a straight db
I was looking for this episode. I remember Stacy taking the rich kid through the mud and him totally not liking it
TWENTY
YEARS
OLD….
just, wow.
congrats - the Jeep is just awesome!
Wow!!! Amazing job.
You made again, Sir.

Looks better than the actual Tomb Raider Jeep.

On his podcast Stacey mentioned that he sold it and has regretted it ever since.
What a jerk😂😂😂😂 he didn’t even let him drive and got him and his new jeep all dirty 😂😂😂 that was hilarious. Off-roading 101
i was gonna say the kid's gonna love this car, but he's probably sold it by now 😊
The kid's kids are probably looking for their first car to drive and modify.
Put the angry eyes on it, remove the fender flares and put a bunch of stickers on it. That beats a lift and stuff any day.
RIP stacey

I loved it till the snorkel was put on that perfect jeep. The electronics would short out before that ever served its purpose.
It was nice to upgrade all that, but I'd have thought replacing the drive shafts and front axle would be way more important than replacing seats and adding tube doors. Those stock drive shafts cannot handle a 4" lift and 35" tires.
Never let someone else drive your jeep, they won’t be around to wash it afterwards.😂
Never seen a jt so clean very little rust
Wouldn’t this be a great flat tow toooo
I have a '07 Grand Cherokees 3.0 turbo diesel wish you could work on it.I need more power out of it.I'm getting ready to put 35 on it.HELP!!!!!!!!!!😮
I'd give $3000 dollars for that pile of factory parts he removed.
It's 2024!
Where did you get the rims from
They look like the Micky Thompson Classic 3. Procomp makes a similar wheel.
Easiest build Stacy has ever done.
It kinda reminds me of Tube Sock.
Kinda sad to see that the J20 gets no spotlight. The AMC years were the best.
Don't forget the angry eyes. You can't pretend to be an off-road vehicle without those.
Not for the TJ. That’s modern jeep bullshit.
Now that you added a thousand pounds the next step would ba a coyote engine in the power barn
Keepemcoming
I never got this Jeep. WTH

I hope nobody wastes their money on those 50/50 mix coolants. Buy concentrate and mix it yourself.

I get what you're saying but take a person where they are. A rig to a person who is starving isn't much of a gift for example.
You leave a Jeep like that unattended in a Toronto parking lot. It will be gone as soon as you turn your back.
Don't worry Gaylan he could probably do this with his eyes 👀 closed and 1 arm behind his back
What happens when mother nature decides to rain on their parade...no rooftop 🙄 🤔
Wow, Stacey is pretty young here, how old is this?
It's from 2004
Put a snorkel on my jeep, and I'd say it looks like you just bought a jeep.
Heybudwanna get rid of them old seats i need some
Dude this episode is 20 years old. Those seats are long gone
Antifreeze/water is cheaper than an engine!!!!!
wow what a girl
Galin looks like a spoiled brat of some TV executive of the show. Wish they could have done a jeep for someone who deserved it.
Ytka 🪿
50/50 antifreeze sponsor segment ... Jesus am i really that old 😅??
