A little story about my experience on Samurai Warriors (SW) series which is my favorite Warriors series of them all. My first SW was SW2XL when i was in elementary school and i played a ton of it. Then i dropped my PS2 for my PSP for a long time. When i hit senior high school, i powered up my PS2 again and play SW2XL again. This time when i was playing it, i started thinking "Why are there only 6 characters stories? Dynasty Warriors 6 have much more than this.". So i looked it up in the internet and then it hit me. Turns out XL in Warriors series is an expansion, not the full game. Took me 10 years to know that. I was playing just a piece of SW2 for my whole life! Then i searched for SW2 disc so i can transfer the data and play the full SW2XL game. Sadly my PS2 died before i can accomplish that. Now i'm still playing SW4-II sometimes and is excited for SW5!
It was crazy back then Dynasty Warrior already in their 5th series while Samurai Warrior did their 2nd series but I'd still enjoy both, thank you KOEI ❤
you know I still don't understand why they made samurai warriors 3 a wii exclusive. Love the games but they don't usually sell especially well why cut theirsales?
to the point in Samurai Warriors 4-Empires & Samurai Warriors Spirit of the Sanada not even having an opening intro to the game (same with samurai warriors chronicles 3) :(

Damn is it just me or the samurai warriors intros has degraded over the years

Samurai Warriors 3 openings are good too. I especially loved the Tadakatsu vs Yukimura opening of SW3 Xtreme Legends.
