James you do a great job with these shoot interviews. You always prepare and do your homework, you get great guests and you are very polite
Yes and you really have good sense on when to let them speak and when to interject.
Dons the man what a great guy seems so humble and down to earth glad to see him very active still.
A great way to accentuate the podcast would be to offer the patented Muraco tie dyed t shirt and muscle shirts. Id be down for one each.
What a legend. As a kid couldn’t stand him one of greatest heels of all time
He was funny too, always eating something during interviews
You had that small stick complex
LOL as a kid always loved the heels, and the Magnificent one was the best because he made Gorilla Monsoon spit his commentary out in disgust when Don would dedicate the Tombstone(before it was called that) to him.
Don Muraco vs Ricky Steamboat was the first WWF match I ever saw.

don came to my gym in mississauga in late 80s. he was on the squat rack. he was a big celebrity

Love these interviews! Did murraco have surgery right before WM III on his left upper thigh as he has a bandage in his match vs the Can Am connection. He also has a noticeable scar there in WM IV

This is Great Amazing Rock had origin story a bit like Bruno only his Father saved himself. I can't even imagine what that must have been like swimming hoping Sharks or so don't get ya. Then finding the rescue boat only to create Don Muraco after all that too. I think I got an old WWF puzzle with him along with JYD a few others. He was Big Dude I sorta remember him in ECW but WWE claims most the footage making it harder to see. I was never a fan of Jimmy Snuka or liked him was always something about him hard to explain. I guess I was right as I cheered when Piper gave him the Coconut To Noggin :). Ricky Steamboat probably only face I really liked unless count Road Warriors. I tended to cheer for or root for the Heels as they were Realer :).
Don I really enjoy all your pod casts. You seems to be a down to earth man, not the man in the square circle.. Two questions for you, How much did Eddie Graham pay you for shaving your head at Champion Ship Wrestling From Florida? Next one first match against Barry Windham, did you really gave him beat down on him on Championship wrestling from Florida? Thanks and take care.

I ask because Steamboat took a DDT rom Jake and you know the rest. Steamboats a clear accident or Jake being a jerk or was it a work cuz Jakes ddt to Ricky on concrete wasn't the first time

Don was peoples Champion ‘ how he never got a run as wwf heavyweight champ is way beyond me , maybe due to his getting lonely for home in Hawaii .

The minute AEW does a show in NY it’s over for them. It’s been a death sentence for everyone that’s tried it
