A good estimate would be 1week of build time per 100 sq ft of finished space. so 24 weeks approx.

I will say, most of the houses you give tours are absolutely beautiful, but can often feel "cold" and impersonal.
This is one of the few I've seen where it feels like a family actually lives here. I loved that. Great video.

So much to like in this design and practical ! Really liked the kitchen design ... oh well back to my design to make some changes. Gotta stop watching these walkthroughs cause every time I do I see something different I like which leads to making changes in my designs (not a bad thing and actually fun). Okay, I'll keep watching ! ☺😎 ... almost forgot. I really liked the included blueprint with measurements added to the video an added plus for reference. 👍

OMG this is my fave so far!! While I love the log homes, I sometimes find them just waaay too rustic for me. I don't want stuffed dead things on the walls and elk motifs all over my house. but this is a nice combo of rustic and elegant. warm and cozy with lots of wood but with pretty and contemporary features also. I think I would have had the fireplace feature wall be log or brick and change the fireplace to a three sided one so you can see if from all angles. I love the mud room and the big pantry. I think when we build we will use Golden Eagle as they seem to be able to do it all.

This home is gorgeous! A few things I would change is putting in hickory cabinets, hardwood walls, make the mud room a little smaller and make one of the spare bedrooms a little larger. Make the garage a little smaller and adding an RV garage

Looks great! I’d love to know more about the cost/pricing basis for something like this. I know they did a lot of “DIY” work themselves, but I’m mostly intrigued how they were able to add expensive timbers, beams and trusses by utilizing more economical finishes in other areas like LVP flooring, Formica counters and modest appliances to fit their budget.

@Golden Eagle Log and Timber Homes ... I did call them and was told you can't help me with even getting a brochure, let alone a catalog and no turn key package is available at all in Canada. I am absolutely floored with how well you promote your homes across Canada and the USA, that only 2 homes were ever built in Canada and I would only be able to get a materials pks, have to find all my own builders, contractors etc.
Absolutely disappointed. 💯

I’ve watched all of these videos and have never had anything negative to say. However, the living room design seems kind of goofy. 90% of the sectional has essentially no view of the TV. I recognize that a TV is used to varying degrees in different houses, but still seems kind of funky.
The only thing I can say is the TV has a Full Motion Dual Swivel Articulating arm on it, thanks for watching

I liked a lot of the house but the living area is odd and that TV sky high. I want mine eye level when seated. It would be okay if it were just a seating area for entertaining but not for TV viewing. This place needs a Family Room for TV viewing. Another thing I didn't care for is the Master Closet off the bathroom. Other than those things it is a very nice place. I guess it isn't for me really since it looks to be more for entertaining guests, I can't tell you when I've had more than a couple people over. 🤔

I love the design elements of the home but what I don't like is the flood plan. I prefer the bedrooms to be on one end and the entertaining area on the other. I just don't get why the rooms are split up.
Everyone likes something different, and we are a custom company and do whatever the customer wants
Would it be possible to add a zero clearance BuckMaster Buck Stove instead of the fireplace? The BuckMaster model has a design that allows you to port the heat to the central HVAC. Would this be possible with this house?

Those kitchen countertops look like formica from the 1970s. Also, the over mount sink looks like a crumb collecting disaster.

How much per sqft for something like this and do you build out of state?
@mike1420 It would be around $350/sq ft but the average square foot price would go down to around $200/sq ft if the basement is finished.
Love this home plan except i don’t want a rustic-style pantry, i want it mostly white and bright and more cabinetry/shelving options instead of just narrow open shelves all across.
I will also skip the perpendicular roof beams on the bedrooms

Ok, I just got of the phone with the sales department. I am in Canada and have been eyeing this home for almost a yr now. According to the man I just spoke to,they do not have builders in Canada,can only sell a materials kit and not a Complete materials turn key price.
I also thought it was mentioned you had catalogs of the homes etc? According to this man, you don't even have brochures you can send me?
