    Hi, algorithm, I know you tend to punish reuploads and not promote them to people, so this is me telling you that I like this video, you should still show it to lots of other people because they'll probably like it too!

    Maybe do your staple/favorite yarns for different types of projects/blend type. Aka what’s your favorite summer cotton, sweater wool, and what do you reach for when you want softness or durability

    You make my sometime extremely stressful days and rough moments a little easier to tolerate. Thank you so much for your honesty, talent, suggestions and entertainment.
    I just found a fabulous little shop in Pacific Grove Ca while out at a Symposium for work. The Borroco Vivo is what I chose for a Wave crocheted baby blanket for our dear friend pregnant with their first and they are Hawaiian.
    She will love it. Thank you again and keep those Videos coming. Hugs and blessings, Dil

    You asked for a wanted yarn review. KnitPicks just came out with Brava Recycle in DK. It may only be in DK or may be in other weights, too, but after your earlier comments on recycled yarns not being soft and other issues, I'd love to know if one of my favs, Brava, have come up with a winner? Brava is usually very affordable, has awesome colors, in the regular format, and I'd love to support the Recycle, IF it works. Thanks for considering!!

      @@TLYarnCrafts I noticed that is the honeycomb stitch, I actually meant the other one. But watching back the video in slow motion a couple of times made me figure out the stitch with the two colors, so still very happy that you showed it in this video. I now have a blanket on the way (as if I needed another project) just because I love this stitch so much.

    I discovered a yarn by Berocco called Weekend. It’s not made anymore and that makes me sad cause it’s so soft and nice to work with.

  • @NCamp-rk8dg
    @NCamp-rk8dg Год назад

    Good grief does splash ever shrink. I knit berroco's malta top with splash and, though absolutely gorgeous, it shrunk to half size the first time I tried to wash it. I've never shrunk anything that small. Hand wash cold water only! But after knowing that, I still knit and crocheted a few other things with it and it just melts into a really soft drapey fabric the more you wear it. So if you like the long game of breaking in a fabric and don't mind a higher maintenance wash, it's great!

  • @eileens.8480

    I thought Berroco was a UK yarn. I wanted it for a pattern from a magazine and it was really hard to find.

    The gaia yarn triggered me and made me think of lion brand re-up which has since been discontinued because it's sheds like nothing I've ever touched in my life it gets EVERYWHERE. LUCKILY yours didn't do that but I would really only make spooky things with the red because it looks like raw meat in my opinion like I want to make some Halloween decor out of that

    I loved this video! Love the yarns, the inspiration and the colors in the background in the beginning! But I do wonder something, and maybe it's because I'm not from the states.... But where I live nobody would be doing a sponsorship with something that contains alcohol without a disclaimer... And since I know we are legal to drink here when whe're 18 and you need to be 21 in the states I find it a little bit weird. No hate at all, but I was just wondering if I missed a disclaimer or that those disclaimers are not a thing in America.☺

    • @TLYarnCrafts
      @TLYarnCrafts  Год назад +1

      Hi! There's no legal disclaimer necessary on my end. RUclips requires me to signify is a video is "made for children" when I upload, and I marked that this one is not. That will keep videos like this from accounts that mainly watch children's programming. Great catch and question - thank you!
