There's a second fishing rod skin that you can get through gameplay, the spiritwood rod, which you can only buy if you finish all fishing achievements.

I'm assuming since I can't do convergence until level 80, i need to be level 80 to start fishing?

@Woogey237 @paigek720 You can find a friend to help you get there, using a teleport to friend item. However, finishing the heart might be complicated if you're not level 80.
