If you have had a mayonnaise cake, do you know if the devil food is more moist or how they compare. My grandson wants an unfrosted chocolate cake. Then I was considering adding pudding mix to Mayo cake. All I know is I want it moist, rich, decadent. Any help be appreciated
@@claudiam7864You can add some sour cream, or separate the yolks from the whites and after beating your whites, you can fold it into your cake mix. You can also increase the quantity of your butter or oils, or the pudding as well.

The difference between Devils food cake and chocolate is the Devils food cake is richer in taste cause it's made with real Cocoa and it has more baking soda in it to make it fluffyer! Try mixing some almond extract into the cherries next time! I bet it would be good! Also, use a pastry blender and cut to solid butter into the sry mix like you were making a pie crust. That mixes the butter evenly.
I guess I'm the only person who did not like this new idea of adding heavy cream to rolls. It added no extra taste and left them really doughy-ish..was not my favorite...

17:04 ABSOLUTELY NOT 😬 I was with you on the first couple recipes but I can't with this undercooked powdery cake mix🤢 BUT you inspired me to try doing one can of cherries (thin layer), properly mix the cake mix, pour it over, sprinkle chocolate chips and call it an upsidedown cherry chocolate cake! So thanks 😅
Put anything in those aluminum pans on a cookie sheet or sheet pan before putting the aluminum container in the oven. Makes it easier to handle and catches any overflow. I know you know this. Some of your followers might not.
Mix a little Almond extract in each can if cherries b4u dump them, some cinnamon in the cake mix, and drizzle chocolate syrup last. (No choc. chips?) Purely a suggestion. ❤
