Oh and if you people don't like the way he sounds stop listening to him. Simple fix. I think he's super helpful.
You are amazing!! To pull apart all of those parts just to show us a better view of the oil cooler and how to get to it. Great job!!
funny how all chevy cruz owners end up here around the same time i'm never getting a chevy car
again too many problems smh
you will have problems with other cars smh stupid people be stupid.

Of the dozens of vehicles that I've owned over the years, the Cruze proved to be the worst of them all in-terms of failure and reliability
My 2012 Sonic has had 5 coolant leaks and 1 major oil leak. A real POS car. I'm dumping this car. GM should be ashamed of the garbage engineering and cheap plastic parts put in this go-cart.
It have to be the Cruze because I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu LTZ with 235k miles and the car drives like a new car still only had to replace the transmission other than that it's great ...most 4 cylinder cars have issues except Toyota and Hondas...Cruze were very cheap made poorly designed there's a lot of ways to bypass a lot of these issues with leaks
How many times do you think you say 'guys' in your videos? Lol! Lots of love!
Mine leaking same spot. Thought it was oil filter. But no. How did you fix this ?
Do you teach mechanic classes? If not is it something you would consider?
This happened on my daughter's '12 Cruze.
It was originally replacing the gaskets, but GM changed the repair kit to replace the cooler, resulting an expensive repair.
Biggest thanks to this video! You guys rock! That really help simplify things for me.
Waterpump replacement requires a radiator flush?
Good day i just fixed my 2018 chevy cruze transmission ,but the guh pit back my engine but he never came back to plug things up can u show how to plug everything up plesse.
I have an oil leak on 2013 chevy sonic LT. I replaced the oil cooler because it was bad. But I still have an oil leak and the mechanic told me it was most likely the front crankshaft seal. My pcv valve is bad so I have to replace valve cover also
Had the same problems, oil leaks everywhere - valve cover, worn seals, compression loss - absolute junk of a car
There is your oil leak, Ricky Booby. Thanks for the video man.
Thank you again for sharing what I have to do
Can you tell if I should replace the oil cooler and oil filter housing
I have a phantom leak for my 2012 Chevy Sonic. My valve cover has been replaced twice and the leak remains. I have seen 3 other mechanics and one of them cleaned my engine which caused my belt to break. The second used the air pressure to clean to find the leak but could not fix it, It came back later that weekend. I went to the dealer and they said there is a lot of oil splatter and a leak. Smh. I am a broke college student and I need to find a solution because I drive for uber to help pay rent.
There is 2 area that is supposed to be sealed with gasket seal
@@October19x what does that mean
The valve cover is a easy fix there is 2 areas that need to be sealed with sealicon
@@October19x yes that has been replaced 3x in two years 🤷♀️
@@October19x try ac delco valve cover
Why these engine needed an engine oil cooling like that??? My other Cars never have had a cooler for the engine oil,,,, can we bypass those coolant tubes? And only let oil pasa through that radiator??? Just to avoid oil/coolant mixing
hey bro, great video.
i have to ask (and afraid to)
i have a leak on the round aluminium "thing" on the right side of the block, behind the oil cooler area.its pretty bad.there are 2 of them, hope you get what i mean.
is it reapirable? thanks
Have you ever tested whether it's really worth it to purchase a Dooxi Car Adaptation products?
so what do you drive one of those crappy hondas?
My coolant is nasty orange. What else should I change with my cooler
So if oil leaks at the cooler then that may be why I smell burned oil through my vents when heat is on. It must be dripping on manifold
Did you find this to be the case? When sitting still, I smell burned oil. Light turns green and I don't smell anything.
@@mikelaes3175 I've looked down below the turbo and i can see fresh oil on front of the block. So some of it has to be dripping on the exhaust manifold and burning. Then when my heater is on, it sucks it into the cab of the car. I haven't gotten around to fix it yet. So I definitely thinks its the oil cooler.
In my Chevrolet cruze 2.0 diesel engine oil is kicking out from engine oil filter and break vaccum pump
This have the cartridge oil filter or regular can type?
Cartridge type.
Chevy cruzes are designed so poorly it's mind boggling.
I agree - I purchased a 2012 in 2014 with 37k miles. Biggest POS.
all cars are designed bad stupid people be stupid.
Inherited a 2012 Sonic turbo. Every month is a new leak (radiator fluid or oil) from cheap cracked plastic toy parts that GM bought for pennies from some 3rd world country. Every part on this car is JUNK.
Thx guy's mine started to leak today I have 135000's on it
Bro I'm also a broke college student that does uber eats for money and I think I have an oil leak and perhaps a coolant leak. Idk what to do someone guide me
Where is the video to see it. ?
I have oil leaks gaskets
What did he say?
ok, guys...
Slow your speech down I dont understand half of what you say
HALF was the word "guys". 😏
Then don't watch it - don't be rude.
Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys
It's almost English but I can't understand 80% of it
Slow down! Couldn’t understand
Googoo gaga googoo gaga
chevy cruze sucks
Your hard to understand
Stop with the "guys" we don't need it
Ugh ugh blah blah blah guys guys guys blah ugh blah blah bah guys guys
My coolant is nasty orange. What else should I change with my cooler
Coolant leak into oil - engine failure, one or more gasket or seal, warped head or head gasket leak, intake manifold leak
It is supposed to be Orange. It's called Dex cool
