6:20 when you were talking about crying about women friendships, SAAAME! There is a great friendship story in ACOSF (book five) but no pressure!!! Also wanted to say I've added so many books to my TBR after watching your vids and tiktoks! Thank you for sharing your lists and giving such great details about them/hyping them up!
I just finished The Pumpkin Spice Cafe. There’s spicy scenes but it’s not like crazy smutty. It’s sprinkled throughout the book. I would give it 🌶️🌶️ but that’s just my opinion lol
My fall tbr: The Great Alone, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series, We Were the Lucky Ones, The Art of Racing in the Rain, Book Thief, and All the Light We Cannot See
I’m so glad to hear I was not the only one who disliked book 2 in ACOTAR! I love book one but really hit a wall in book two and have decided not to finish the series 🤦🏽♀️ this was a great video! Thanks for sharing!
Lovely War was a 5 star read for me too!! The Women was great too, it was a fairly quick read that I didn’t want to put down even though it was quite sad and heavy! Yeah, I just found out that The Pumpkin Spice Cafe was a spicy romance and I was shook 😂 Recently read A Man Called Ove and it was such a good, heartwarming book! I hope you can get more into it this time around, Backman is one of my favorite authors. I have so many books on my fall TBR, including One Dark Window, The Spellshop, Where the Dark Stands Still, Butcher and Blackbird, Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea, The Thirteenth Tale, Homegoing, Clytemnestra, Dracula, A Sorceress Comes to Call, Bright Young Women, and so many more hahaha
You will find LOVELY WAR is very easy to follow. It’s different than I thought it would be but I loved it. The Women is good too. My favorite is still the Nightingale with Firefly Lane and The Women close behind. I’m anxious to hear your reviews!
Fall tbr is kinda long for me too 😂 1. My roommate is a vampire 2. The 7 & 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle 3. The southern book club's guide to slaying vampires 4. My dark vanessa 5. Heartless hunter 6. The love of my afterlife 7. Old flames & new fortunes 8. Chestnut Springs series (I know I'm last person to read it) 9. The boyfriend 10. Lessons in chemistry 11. The inheritance games series 12. Throne of the fallen 13. Emily wildes encyclopedia of faeries 13. Project hail mary 14. The silent patient 15. The midnight library 16. Boys of tommen series 17. Gothikana 18. The bodyguard 19. The women 20. The wedding people And if I don't stop there, I will keep going 😂 but trust me I have many more
"My Dark Vanessa" was REALLY good, but also really cringe at the same time. But it's like the cringe was well captured/written. I think the author did a good job expressing the complicated/conflicted emotions associated with situations in the book.
I haven't reaaally made an official fall tbr yet, but the books I know I'd like to read are 1. Bunny 2. 11/22/63 3. Giovanni's room 4. ACOTAR 5. Iron flame 6. My sisters keeper
I just wing it, I never really plan a TBR. The library really puts a damper on my plans. I still have summer books that haven’t come through. 😣 I’m in 4 book clubs with 5 books planned, so I get those over with first, then just go for whatever is either trending, friends recommend or just feels right ❤ so many good picks on your list! The Women is so good.
Love you too girl! And yes The Boyfriend 5⭐️ read! Oh and The Women has to be a buddy read during October if it’s not the book club pick cause I’m also wanting to read it!
I have cackle and a sorcerer comes to call on my short list. I am currently half way through the heaven and earth grocery store and am really enjoying it.
Soo I didn't love The Women. The other two books I've read by her (Nightingale and Firefly Lane) were sooo good so i had high expectations going into The Women and it was just kinda meh. It was really interesting to learn about the Vietnam War (I basically knew nothing lol) but there was a lot I wasn't crazy about. 😅 My current fall tbr: Just started Beartown Better Than The Movies is up next Fourth Wing Seven Year Slip The Quiet Tenant *Subject to change based on my mood and what library loans are ready on Libby or what shows up on Kindle unlimited 😊
We’re the opposite way round with Taylor Adams. I’ve read No Exit and loved it, so now I really want to read The Last Word. Also I’m so excited for The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden
Here's my tbr for fall Barbara Streisand memoir The wild truth by carine mccandless memoir Wildfire by hannah grace Funny story by Emily Henry Bright young women by Jessica knol If it bleeds by Stephen king Savor it
I'm currently hooked on "The Legacy of Gods" series by Rina Kent. I'm starting book 3 (God of Wrath) of the series today. It's hard for me to get into regular romance books ever since I've been reading dark romances 🤔
Kristin Hannah is a favorite author and nightingale is a favorite book. I was so excited to read The Women and it was disappointing. This one doesn't have an exciting page turning story. Ending is predictable and the novel focuses on a female veteran's ptsd and surviving in a man's world. It was dull for me. 3 Stars. Important message but boring delivery
Totally agree! I didn't love it. I think part of it is the other Kristin Hannah books I've read have been sooo good that I've set the bar really high for her and The Women just fell flat. 🤷
I’m excited to hear your thoughts on some of these, so many are also on my never-ending tbr! ❤

this format really suits me
omg yess the lovely war was one of my top reads this year!! hope you enjoy it❤
Don’t be intimidated by The Women. It is written in “The Queen’s” usual easy style that you will fly right through! So good!
The Women is phenomenal. It's in my top 3 of the year.
I just finished The Pumpkin Spice Cafe.

ACOMAF ending was really good. I just have to remember that the middle of the books do get messy.
really liked this video
Acomaf definitely bored me during the middle but it gets better I promise, keep going ❤

I'm reading Firefly Lane by Kristen Hannah right now. I am just over halfway and it is soo good! 📚🌻🍂
I had to LoL because Sara and Destiny make me poor too! LoL 😂❤
