INSANE! Your voice is impeccable, and those compositions just keep getting better every video! You are such a great singer and I love every tag you make, keep it up!
It's like drinking from a fire hydrant. (Except that you can't have a smile on your face the entire time when you're drinking from a fire hydrant. That's where the analogy breaks down.)
The earlier version of this tune was the first tag I ever learned. Loved it. Loved it even more when I learned that it was Lloyd Steinkamp's favorite song. And this version, which I only heard years after WHeelhouse's performance of it - is my favorite version of the tag. Beautifully done, as always, Tim!
We left our day to day world behind and are vacationing in Bar Harbor, Maine this week… but…I couldn’t leave a Tuesday “release” behind! Another great performance, Tim, adds great pleasure to my Tuesday vacation! Thank you, and BRAVO!👍🏼👏🏼😉
Bravo!! For some unknown reason, this tag has been stuck in my head for the last week, and I've been listening to it on repeat. Now I know that the world was just preparing me for this wonderful rendition! Absolutely beautiful as always, you breathe so much life into this tag!
This is one of the tags that my choir teacher taught us back in high school! He introduced all his students to TAGs and I have been in love with barbershop ever since! (We did pickups to m. 36 - 37 of your transcription for our short and sweet version!)
This song was the first song to actually get me to listen to barbershop quartets. I have gotten blown away by how perfectly the chords clash with each other!
a daily dose of tim waurick significantly makes my life better. serously, no matter how bad my day was, this man makes me smile and laugh. you're incredible tim waurick!
I love that you include the score... Now I can 'see' what each of the parts are doing - the things I've heard for decades. BARBERSHOP !!! I can't tell you how many times I've replayed your vids over and over, and learning little nuances every single time. From a lifelong Lead singer - I finally have a better understanding of how the harmony is working more than just my dumbfound appreciation. Thanks again - love the video.
Yay, when heard Simon do it thia way it became my favorite and noticed there were not alot of other tags that sung it this way. Of course you would change that 🎉 thanks
Such a great video! I always love your vids! Have you thought about doing or have you already done Seven Bridges Road from The Eagles? That harmony is spectacular! Would love to hear your voice do this!
Wow, this is the best one you've made in quite a while! I love this sooooooooooooo much!! (Not that the others were bad of course but this is really something special!!)
Yo, I just want to say how much of an inspiration you are for me! I love your voice and barbershop, and I find your work incredible! Just wanted to let u know that’s how big of a deal you are and for you to keep doing what you’re doing!
Do you sing in the tempered scale, or do you tune each chord individually with itself? I wish I could tell just by listening but I wouldn't know how to pick that out.
Okay technical question I've never been able to figure out, how the heck do you get overtones like that in a multitrack recording like this! That would be a difficult note to catch clearly in a live setting with multiple voices, how in the world is it so clear and distinct in a pre-recorded system like this?

But I tell you what you talk about a tag with steroids that is an awesome baritone part
*Brb, have to see a doctor… my jaw will not stop hitting the floor.*
Sorry about that...don't send me the bill.
He'll just tell you it's natural when experiencing something like this!
And yet his is also hitting the floor lol, love the huge open smile he sings with
@@TimWaurickMusicnext tag: four voices Charleston an octave higher.
Once again tim is so in tune you can hear overtones going into space
This takes me back to when Wheelhouse first competed with this 20 years ago!
I remember it well! They crushed it!
How come I can only give this one thumbs up? 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Excellent version of a classic! Thanks for this one, Tim!

Something about blinking during the high note, I don’t know why, but it’s really distracting for me and I love it lol 😂

Thanks, Dave!!

Thank you!
Extremely intense! This is one of my favorite tags. I was planning on doing this one too! But I didn’t want a repeat of the Christmas tag incident. 🤣🤣
Whew🤣

You reached out and touched our hearts with this one Tim. It's magical 💎
Thank you! I appreciate that!
I love using your vids as learning experiences. I sing bass in my chorus, and I practice my sight reading skills along with you.
My favorite tag done by my favorite barbershop singer. Masterfully done, as always.
words can’t describe this, but wow. amazing job as always
Those chords!!!! Ah-mazing!!
Overtone overload!! Wonderful
Holy sh*t, Tim! Absolutely blown away 🤯 you truly are the GOAT 🙌🎶💖
Beautiful as always Tim.
Would you consider doing: “from the first hello, to the last goodbye” in the future?
Thank you, Brian! I absolutely have that one on my list of songs to do!
Goosebumps and chills!! Oh my gosh-I can’t stop listening to this!!
Tim, every tag I have seen you do is flawless. Keep it up

Thank you so much! I haven’t done it, but I love that suggestion - thanks for that!
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this one! It’s an amazing tag already, but you have officially made it nothing short of perfection!!
What a build up! That was awesome, as usual.
Holy Crap Tim! This is Amazing!
Wow, this is the best one you've made in quite a while! I love this sooooooooooooo much!! (Not that the others were bad of course but this is really something special!!)
This is an amazing performance! I recommend listening to the final chord of this tag and the final chord of Voctave's O Holy Night
does everyone just smile every time watching these? LIke as you get closer to the ending, my smile just gets bigger and bigger
You never cease to amaze.
Amazing job, your voice is very soothing.
I could *feel* that final chord

Think of all the generations that left the world behind for us.
Of course I’m slightly partial to this one. Appreciate the nod to Wheelhouse. BAH-BA-SHOP!!!!!!!
😃😃😃
An incredible performance. Such an under-appreciated genre of music here in the UK, which is a shame because it's simply sublime.
That’s so damn good.
All I can say is yeah. Wow
Is there any place where we can get this tag? Love to teach this with my chorus!
The music MIGHT be available on barbershoptags.com.
Can't believe you got overtones in there :D
What the actual what. Wow. 👍
Classic
overtone be like
😃
Holy Overtones
You leave all the other singers behind, Tim.
He's tuning the 3rd down to a 5/4 ratio! 😮
@TimWaurickMusic You know it's a good Barbershop tag when it has a ii half-diminished on the word "love"....
This is so ridiculously perfect. Are you really able to hit each pitch so perfectly or do you do some slight post processing?
Wow
Ummm since when does that tag have an even cooler section before?!?!
How YOU doin?!?
Could you do last letter home by lee holiby
Do you sing in the tempered scale, or do you tune each chord individually with itself? I wish I could tell just by listening but I wouldn't know how to pick that out.

0:37~0:40 sounds like a game console when you turn it on.
