I will be playing all of them: Diablo 4, WoW Dragonflight, PoE2, Ashes of Creation, RIOT's MMO and whatever else comes out.

I'm putting my faith in D4 and PoE. I Hope they don't mess it up! :D
PoE 2 is going to be successful just by the amount of new ascendancies and clases. It will NOT flop. Path of Exile 1 in the other hand... is getting rough. Diablo 4 could be good, but monetization and blizzard's bullshit could kill it if they are not carefull.

Yeah, in terms of MMOs... the RIOT one is definetely the only one where I laid my hopes. Not blinded though, we should wait for more information. They have good history with previous titles, but CDProyect Red also did 😅

Loved the topic, it absolutely true alot of my friends would get tired before the end game content. Let's say someone enjoy combat he can play as gladiator but If I wants to be a fisherman let me be, or rise my farm. So why force people to level up do some meaningless missions.

MMOs and ARPGs are centered around fighting as the main gameplay loop. Gathering and other activities are complements to enlarge the player's experience. In other games this is the opposite, in Stardew Valley for example the main activity is gathering. For me, it makes sense that secondary activities are not as powerfull as the main one. At least some give you xp or items. Some games today have insanly deep mechanics though for all these "extras activities" so there is a bright future waiting for you! If you find yourself enjoying more the fishing part than a raid for example, maybe you should try other genres. I can't recommend anyone cause they are not my thing. Maybe "Don't Starve" (which has a survival/gathering mix) or "Stardew Valley" could be fun. I've heard good things from other people.
Also, FFIV is an MMO with a lot of activities you may enjoy!
@@makoandmoka I'm Iranian. Thank you for asking 😍that's true. I've played stardew valley it's GREAT. Also now as I see your point of view , I mostly enjoyed MMOs when clear a challenge like dungeons with my friends ... but daily grind to minmax before it was exhausting.
I hope some riot employee see your ideas.

@@Rz4fun Playing with friends is always the best experience. I would recommend searching for active guilds in MMOs or stick to whatever your friends are up to.
And yes, dailys are "im dead inside" activities lol

Most of new MMOs trying to make the wow killer since a decade ago or something different, and take a hit on what the communities want or even the slightest feedback. And this looks like its been on la loop for like forever.
I think the " wow killer" mentality is more prevalent on the player side of things. I never liked it. You can play more than one game, this is not a football team. It's just another meme today but it speaks volumes about the lack of alternatives for that specific community. I would bet the new MMO from Riot is going to be a serious contender. Not killing WoW but rather offering a valuable alternative.
