- Randy Helm is a horse whisperer who teaches inmates at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Florence how to tame wild horses. Through the process of training wild mustangs, the inmates learn that they too can live another way.

I am seventy years old, and have had two years in my life that were horse free. I was first taught the old way of making the horse do it. Breaking a horse. When my wife and I took over the care of Dad’s retired Standardbreds, I learned what these guys are learning in this program. Teach the horse to trust you, and to be willing to meet you, and follow you.
I tear up, if not cry every time I watch this. Mr. Helm, you are my hero. And all you inmates...may God continue to bless you and your lives prosper. Your willingness to shoot this video has blessed me and others...You've already started giving back.
This would be a better reality show- than those already on tv
I had the pleasure of meeting Randy Helm at a trail ride. He is an amazing human. Thank God for men like him and programs like this.
This shows that also none of those men had truly evil intentions because I feel like the horse would feel it. These men and horses have changed for the better. Florence is a hell of a prison filled with all types of people, glad these guys can get this experience.
The bond between rider and horse is just something else❤️

This is Beautiful, Yeah horses do help a lot with Trust and Patience, I had Anger Management for like 7 years than I stopped and I do go through Depression, And Other things My Horse Helps me a lot he is very Spunky he does Buck and Get nasty but I don't mind cause it's just who he is so I'm gonna let him be that way cause he's stubborn but he is sweet all horses are they all have it in them, My Horse is a 10 year old, 16HH, 1,200Ibs, Quarter Horse, This video helps me better understand his Body language, Thank you!Its a beautiful videos!Thank you so much!

So heart-warming. Although dogs are in many ways more bonded to humans, I feel horses teach us more about ourselves. They are more enigmatic and they make us go deeper inside ourselves.

Wonderful program. Horses are such great teachers for us humans. We really need them here on this planet to help us in so many ways. Great guys and they have a very, very good man to lead them it seems.
We need these types of programs in every prison across our country. The problem is finding the proper instructors. This gentleman knows horses and men and he's damn good at both.
