I’m not up to this yet I’ve still got about 4 hours of merchant Prince left but just wanted to thank you for putting these up I’ll be ready to start it Monday arvo this is my favourite I’m the series thanks again Dan your a legend
I really enjoy the human-level drama that centers of Erik, Rue and the others. But my god, all the lore passages with Pug and Miranda exploring the realms and going on and on and on and on about the origins of the gods and the universe and whatever bullshit are absolutely KILLING me.
Teacher said " Raymond ! A thousand words after class.." Like repeating "He/She turned around in His/Her arms" (Even if they're sitting on a bench. Comic relief I guess) Only the great writers list every single item in a room Or a character's entire wardrobe. LOL This stuff's pretty good for pulp, has it's moments. Crazy awesome for free !
Bro, that crazy that you don’t like those parts. Those are my favorite moment of the book. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure I guess. I wouldn’t even be listening to this if it didn’t switch back to pug once in awhile
I dislike the narrator’s portrayal of Miranda, pug and a few others. They sound very snobbish despite the way they read in the earlier books. The other saga had a different narrator that seemed to have captures the feel of the characters and their attitudes and history by the way they sound. Almost everyone in this r cording sounds uppity as if the depth of characters he is able to portray is limited to a variation of of one or two people. If I could afford audibles version I would buy asap. The voice sample for these books caught my attention and the quality is apparent, but I can’t complain too much considering it’s free in here.
@@gailhowes9398 is that a joke? Lol. I freaking love the story. No doubt I’ll listen or read thee books for probably my 4th or 7th time since I was a teenager over 29 years ago. Damn I feel so old putting that in a message. My only regret is when it ends. I always spend a few days thinking of everything I read and how it felt and what I imagined. Masterpieces.
Agreed. He's not as bad as some but the narrator for the rift war saga was really good, one of the best i have heard. I could tell who was talking just by the accent he used. He seemed to remember each one perfectly.
Narrator is much to stage dramatic and corny. He could do an over the top narration for a rocky and bullwinkle episode if William Conrad wasn't so good. Even early radio wasn't this bad.
I would say the person reading out this story is tye right choice the world is early Renaissance cross late middle age mixed in . I would say the speakers voice is of roldom stock distinguished .

Thanks audiobookdan for the uploads. With my old eyes I really don't enjoy reading like I used to so audio books are awesome.
I wonder why this playlist starts with riftwar saga then skips over Prince of the Blood and Buccaneer to here? Those are two great books in the series
Thanks for the upload!
All the trash talk in these comments. Disgraceful. If you don’t like it, go pay audible 15 bucks. Buncha whiners.
Decided to finish merchant prince today couldn’t wait any longer for this
@Jale Jake I have the books and have read and enjoyed them every few years. Feist is a good author and Riftwar is a great series.
Rage of a Demon King - Raymond E. Feist Part 1 of 2
