I find myself constantly trying to like and comment the video only to realize I’ve already done it several times. That’s how much I love these books. I almost wish I could like videos more than once if only to show how I feel about it. Of course that would throw off the count but still I can’t think of another way to say how much Raymond E Feist has impacted his readers.
The war and battles are wonderful, but I think the infidelity of some of the characters is tiresome. Could Sylvia, no matter her charms, really effect events so? I think not, particularly for the Merchant Prince. It reduces him.
The last scene with Matilda rather amuses and annoys me. According to the timeline of the book, the kid should be 5 or 6, yet Roslyn is 'carrying the baby' and says "He's teething..." What happened to the proofreader???
@@bernadettetedesco4900 Nope. That's Stefan's child, who was conceived before the war. Erik and Roo are at least 5 years older - Stefan's kid should be at least 4, and done with baby teething. In the next book, he's said to be ready to begin his formal schooling to be a Baron, later in the same year. Matilda would have less than no interest in the second child of Roslyn.
Anyone notice how Thomas half Valhiru and human was portrayed by the first narrator as strong powerful and commanding and now he’s a weak whiny little brat who’s clueless. Many of the characters are nothing like the first narrator envisioned them and if you read these books you likely had your own version of them which varied. This narrator in comparison to the first audiobooks and our own interpretations of how they sounded or how they meant to say many sentences by inflection this reading has flipped the script and to me strays from how I hope mr Feist intended. Im curious if anyone else has listened and said one of these two narrator’s is spot on or you had the a completely different version.
I have Very High Regard for your books eg. The Magician . However , the narrator you have chosen leaves a lot to be desired . I am unable to listen . The voice , too heavy , variations unrealistic , lacks resonance , tone - crackling . James E Wisher has a very listenable .
Lol. I know how you feel. We went from from living in a mansion of a narrator in the first couple of audiobooks to living in a rundown normal house. It’s not a horrible place and it has a roof but going from that to this is a huge difference. Good thing is it’s free and we can understand the voice even if it’s limited and sounds like a 1950’s baseball radio announcer.
This narrator is really good. Thank you for the escape from a crappy day😊
I've read them all, and it's great to be able to listen while I'm working.

3:08:20 to 3:10:25 - that is all, I hope for in life, one that anyone, so fortunate, should hope for.
I like the narrator. Takes effort to read like that. Ppl need to relax
Thank you!
I much prefer a real person to AI reading, the different voices he uses make it even better.
AI is unlistenable.
This guy isnt AI. Its just a ancient recording

Based on history -- yes.
Once I got used to the narrator he was fine. Bunch of complaining Karen’s
I still enjoy the story despite the voice narrator but hey, can’t complain much since it’s free and I can understand.

@@phoenixrising573 true, just re-listened to that part. How annoying!

Who hired this ridiculous novella noir narrator…?
