Cucumber has been used in skincare products for quite some time. It's known for it's soothing properties. Cucumbers have soothing and cooling effects on the skin, making them particularly beneficial for those with sensitive or irritated skin, although they're suitable for all skin types. They also have anti-inflammatory properties in that they help reduce swelling and morning puffiness.

Hi, thanks! Yes, I do already soap with a water discount. For this particular recipe, I discounted some more of my water for the weight of cucumber I used.

Hi! 👋 Thanks for tuning into the channel 💗 To answer your question, it won’t go bad. The extra step of making sure it was blended very fine (no chunks) into a purée, and the process of saponification, keeps this soap shelf-stable.
Cucumber melon is one of my all time favorite.

How do you calculate "discount from water" when using ingredients like avocado and cucumber? Brand new to soap making so hoping to learn from those more experienced like you.
Same as before, I just chose an amount and went with it. Don’t be afraid to experiment!

No worries, love. I’m happy to help! Start with 1 oz, or the gram equivalent. Then as you get more comfortable, you can up the amount.
So funny that you call oils earls. There was a guy at the market where I sell soap that sold essential oils and my nickname for him was Essential Earl. I love cucumber melon from NG such a great fragrance!
