Looks a great bit of kit that Ben. I’ve said it for a long time the first tackle company that actually designs its kit around the family car will make millions. 90% of us all have the same transport space / shape available. Nice to see a company actually considering this 👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve never had any issues with my maver.. maybe slightly heavier and doesn’t look as good but it’s strong and does what it should do gets the tackle from the van to the peg
I'm currently using the Daiwa mini barrow which has served me well and this new barrow has the same latches for folding down I wouldn't hesitate in buying the trolley 8
i bought the preston 4 wheel shuttle a month ago, it lasted 4 sessions before the wheel bearing collapsed and the wheel buckled under, £200 for a pile of junk in my opinion, wished i had know this was coming out before i bought the preston , but there again, you only find out how good something is after you used it a while, good review Ben 😃
Sorry you had a bad experience but you should have read a few reviews on trolleys and you would have seen various Preston shuttle problems, Matrix too suffer from poor workmanship especially welds, l don't buy anything till l have seen long term reviews. Your problem now is even after replacing offending failed parts the second hand market is limited as word gets round.
Good video Ben Looking forward to the comparison with the other barrows I have the matrix , great barrow, but can be a pain putting together, then taking apart every session, Wish it went up as fast as the daiwa.
Great video Ben, I really like the look of this shuttle - compact is the key feature for me, easy in and easy out. Personally if I used a shuttle, I’d buy one.
Great review Ben, when you do the comparison will you be loading it with gear? I love the fact it closes down and no messing about with cold fingers trying to construct it, Daiwa as always are one step ahead of the competition 💚
Just checked trolley in angling direct. You complained about wheel rattle on other trolleys the daiwa wheels the same the axles rattle as well.Needs a bracing bar between the handles. The handle pivot bracket encroaches onto the base. I will wait for mk2.
Looks good ! Would be great to see with it loaded with some popular models of seatboxes. Is a seatbox meant to sit between the two neoprene arms at opposite end to handle ?
Great video. Quick question the comparable video with the preston shuttle and matrix transporter and the daiwa trolley. Will the map x4 be included. I have one converted to electric and its amazing. For people who struggle deffo get it converted to electric.
Looking forward to the review Ben. I have the Matrix and to be honest it’s not that well made, I think they are made in China. Loads of faults with it. I know Diawa are in the UK so would hope they are made here and not China. It would be nice to get some feed back off anglers after using them for a bit. Keep doing what you do mate👍
Ben,after seeing this review,I splashed out £260 from a national retailer about 2 months ago, and bought one,and thought WOW..but after loading it and pushing it along the local cut,I nearly had a hernia, arms like Popeye,a knackered back,it's impossible to keep on the straight and narrow, you have to lift it up to correct your maneuvering of it, as it veers to the left or right depending on the footpath, empty its a doddle to use,my Preston shuttle is nearly 10 yrs old and behaves better than this Daiwa Fold and Go..a shame as I am a Daiwa tart..not a happy chap..
£300??? Youd at least expext a brake on it so it dont drag you down a hill all it needs is a simple disc brake of a mountain bike and a hand brake so it can park an it then id probably pay £250 for it it aint that well thought of
This has got to be the worst purchase I’ve ever made. It’s totally un-manoeuvrable when loaded it won’t steer in a straight line, you are constantly fighting with it and don’t even try to tackle a bend in the path .

I agree Mark
Ok if you have a van I’ve got the Preston 4 wheel barrow and I have never had a problem with it ok I have to take it apart but I can live with that
I’ve never had any issues with my maver.. maybe slightly heavier and doesn’t look as good but it’s strong and does what it should do gets the tackle from the van to the peg
Hi Ben, I’ve bought one of these based on your review. Great piece of kit.
I'm currently using the Daiwa mini barrow which has served me well and this new barrow has the same latches for folding down I wouldn't hesitate in buying the trolley

Got 1 myself mate brilliant piece of kit very strong n great if your short 4 space in your vehicle

I've had one (2 wheel converted to 4 wheel) for a few years, no issues, but you can get new wheel bearings for a few quid
Never had a problem with mine. Had it 2 years.
You can buy wheel bearings off of eBay for them

Sorry to hear that David
Nice looking Barrow but I would have liked to have seen the Base Frame filled in as it looks very open.
It does come with a base bag that i didn't have for the film
Thanks for the video Ben. It looks a brilliant bit of kit… 300 quid though!! 😢
I’ll stick with my Preston shuttle.
Fair enough! it is a bit steep
Good video Ben

Yeah would be nice if they did

Yeah a great bit of kit
Great video. Looks a great bit of kit but £300 is a No No from me. Ill stick with taking 5 minutes setting up my MAP shuttle 👍
lol Map is still great
Ben what is the size of it when folded up .Need to know if it will go in my boot
Very good review, look forward to your comparison of different trolleys. I was surprised by the price, it’s a bit steep in my opinion.
yeah
Great review Ben, when you do the comparison will you be loading it with gear?
I love the fact it closes down and no messing about with cold fingers trying to construct it, Daiwa as always are one step ahead of the competition 💚
Yes, soon

Thanks for the info but it isn't anything like the matrix rattle. The very minimum goes away under load. this cant be said for the matrix
I dont need a trolley ,i just take what my partner can carry 😅
LOL
Looks good ! Would be great to see with it loaded with some popular models of seatboxes.

Only had a short amount of time to film I'll try at a later date David
So much potential for things to start going wrong with this though
same as most thing i suppose
This looks a great trolly.
I have a preston absolute 36 box, will this fit on this trolly?
Thanks
Mike
I would think so
Great video. Quick question the comparable video with the preston shuttle and matrix transporter and the daiwa trolley. Will the map x4 be included. I have one converted to electric and its amazing. For people who struggle deffo get it converted to electric.
I'll have to get hold of one as they were out of stock
Can we see what its like to maneuver when fully loaded?
I'll do my best
Why do they not make the back wheels swivel like a shopping cart? So much easier to then use?
Great idea that
You forgot to mention the bag for the back that comes with it pal
Yeah it wasn't on it so I didn't no about it
Looking forward to the review Ben. I have the Matrix and to be honest it’s not that well made, I think they are made in China. Loads of faults with it. Thanks James
Weighs and absolute ton.
no tbh
Might cost more but I bet its stonger n looks alot better engineered than some of em out there mention no names 😁
yeap
Looks alright, and then you mention the price! OUCH!
yeah
Used it two times now and I carnt stop it pulling to the left . Not like diawa tackle rubbish

Wow. only so much you can tell in the shop so this info is vital to people thanks bud.
@@Angling4U No probs Ben,I hurt writing that review ,as I said i've got a lot of Daiwa gear and non of it has EVER let me down.
£300??? Youd at least expext a brake on it so it dont drag you down a hill all it needs is a simple disc brake of a mountain bike and a hand brake so it can park an it then id probably pay £250 for it it aint that well thought of
It should have a bag in the rear of the trolley you’ve not fitted.
yeah I didn't know it existed sorry
Does not compact small enough
Would have been good if you had put a seat box on it.
properly right
At that price I want it electric
lol would be nice
This has got to be the worst purchase I’ve ever made. It’s totally un-manoeuvrable when loaded it won’t steer in a straight line, you are constantly fighting with it and don’t even try to tackle a bend in the path .
yeah a few saying this felt superb in the shop, just proves in a world environment things can be different
