I think this was Cyndi getting her feet wet for Broadway. She always talks about Brodway Musicals that her Mom had records for and Cyndi wore them out because she played them over and over pretending to be the star. The way she performed here was a little quirky and also her voice was amazing. And her hair and the outfit and glasses.....pure Cyndi all the way!
She is great; too bad she didn't have a more active role in B'Way musicals. A born performer. Accolades to one of the greatest, Irving Berlin in '46 for the original BWay show composer. Composers deserve the highest praise for the beautiful music they have turned out over the years.
