Doom 2 map 19 The Citadel is so bad, I can't keep my mouth shut

This is NO walkthrough, NO let's play, NO guide and NO showing off my skills. Most likely, I suck at playing Classic Doom much more than anyone reading this. So I created "Lame Doom" for myself: I'm using the basicslowmomod on GZDoom 4.7.1 to play, which allows you to play the game at 50% speed, and then I doubled the video speed, and I'm playing the easiest difficulty level, and I turned off the music. And I use mouselook. Also, I pause and save the game occasionally, but I edit that out, for a "smoother" viewing experience.
But all this doesn't matter when playing The Citadel. I hate this map, no matter what mod I use. It's so boring and dumb and uncreative. The "map room" actually is a very clever idea, but it's so poorly executed, it makes me sad.
