Your humility and competence are a rare combination. Thank you for the inspiration! I’m also very curious to know how you used AI to assist in the development of the project .
Looks cool. I think there are two things I'd love to have as well based on the video alone. One would be ephemeral lines, so you draw them and they disappear after a short time. And two, have the drawings "stick" to the place where you drew them, imagine you're on a website, you have a comment for the header so you do that there, and you also have a comment for the footer so you scroll down, it would then be nice if the top part stuck to where it was placed instead of just being "sticky" on the screen when you scroll down. Hope that makes sense, will definitely be checking out this software regardless.
The fact that you built this app in a short period of time using a different stack from your main stack explains how mature your software development skills is😁
Nice. I was wondering what application you were using when you sometimes featured part of the code with a green/yellow rectangle. Then I guess here is the answer. It would be great to know what is the main reason that you are using express and js? Is just because to learn or there are any other motivation? Thanks for the video. It's an amazing product.
Congratulations on what looks like an absolutely awesome app. Would love to hear more about how you implemented the command / command history with undo / redo. And anything you can share on your experiences with using the LLM's would also be very interesting. Thanks again for all the great content 👍👍. Did you use shadcn for the UI widgets?
Hey! Why did you decide to go native - macOS with bananotate? Did you consider creating it as a multi-platform MacOS/Windows or you came across some issues that discouraged you from creating a hybrid app?
Since it started out as “yeah what the heck, let’s see how hard it can be” type of project, I didn’t really stop to think of it’s worth investing in a cross platform solution. In retrospect, I don’t think it’s possible to truly create this experience cross-platform. And if yes, it would have taken me way longer and performance would likely be way worse (just look at figma)
hey! this looks very cool. i would love for it to work also for none streamers. for example im doing lectures in my academic college, and would love a tool like this while im sharing my screen with the code examples for the students. wish you alot of luck!
Are you open to creating a project so we can help create that for Windows? Because from a business point of view, Windows is a large market that you can expand to
Wow, what an awesome tool! You're making me want to buy a Mac, install VMWare, and keep using Windows in full-screen mode just so I can have the annotations on top of your software. 😄 Do you plan to make it available on Windows in the future?
@@amantinband You should consider investing in marketing, SEO, and presentations highlighting what the application can do. Maybe reviews and tutorials by well-known RUclipsrs in this niche could help boost its popularity. Your app is VERY USEFUL, looks super cool, and is far superior to anything I found currently on the market :) It's especially valuable for power users. And that second step, recreating the application for Windows, would likely sell very well too (In the future maybe) Congratulations :) A really good job !!
Congrats on releasing this tool! Just wondering if this is a product that requires a subscription, or you could just raise the price a bit and make it a one time payment.
Was this an elevator pitch for the Burj Khalifa? Just kidding, the app looks great but as other commenters have noted, it would be nice to have on other platforms. Let's hope it gains traction so that there's more demand for it!
Really cool. Altought I'm not a fan of a subscription model for this kind of software. Would be nice to have a One-Time payment like Cleanshot or Bartender.
Looks promising but the icon and the name make me thing of either a product scanner such as Yuka or something more.... adult. But that could be my troubled mind.
It's finally out! Congratulations on the release 🎉🎉🎉
I'm here because of ErrorOr. Congrats by the way!

Congratulations 🎉 @Amichai! Well done
Tbh it looks so cool, I would pay any product from you since I have learned a lot just by seeing your courses here in YT
That looks really awesome! Good luck I hope it takes off
Congrats on the release.
Thanks for a great video Amichai! I would be delighted to hear more on the architecture behind this app!
Congrats on your new app. Can’t wait to try it out
Great idea. Great features. Great implementation.
Looks awesome bro! Thanks for sharing!
Congrats!!
Congratulations! Nice idea!

The second one sounds cool but impossible 😂
Thanks Juicy Benji (👀). the sticky idea is really cool! It sounds like something fun to engineer. I wrote both of your ideas down. Thanks!
Great app! Congrats!

goodluck bro looks great!
Whoa whoa whoa. No dotnet maui?
You sellout
Good luck! 😀

Congratulations Amichai 🎉🎉🎉.
Wow that's good

I wish this was on Windows too
Currently I’m not planning a windows version. Since this is a “native” macOS app, it would need to be almost completely rewritten for windows
Windows is too ugly to show off to anyone for any length of time. Just take a screenshot.
😂
Agree, write it for Windows using c#
:D
Something similar to this for Windows is ZoomIt.

MAUI is a theoretical product that exists on tutorials

Thanks! Yes it’s definitely aimed at educators as well
@@amantinband too bad the college computers are all windows/rocky linux. great project man!
I will pay if this app available on Windows
Need an AI feature that continuously draws on my screen while I’m talking.
You switched from clean architecture to GPT architecture
🤔

I can't open the website

Just updated the pricing to be a one time purchase following your (and others) feedback. Thanks!
@@amantinband cool! I just got the Extended license, thanks for answering! 🙌
Sweet! send any feedback you have my way 🤙🏼
why no microsoft based tech in this? I am impressed in any case.
When you use ChatGPT the stack doesn’t matter
I actually started off with the backend being Postgres and azure functions but the experience was so terrible I threw it away and started over
😍😍
s there anything else that supports Windows? This only supports Mac.
Mac only? ☹️
Yep, for now macOS only
Looks promising but the icon and the name make me thing of either a product scanner such as Yuka or something more.... adult. But that could be my troubled mind.
👀
Tech stack
And windows? 😢
no Windows support? 🤨
Nope, Mac only
