I replaced the low beam on the drivers side. Put the lamp in the hole and connected the wire afterwards super simple. No removed parts and no fighting the connector. Not sure if it would work for everyone but worked for me. But thank you for giving me the info to remove the lamp.
Thank you for your thorough video....most just did the easiest low beam....and a "repeat on the other side" .....your video was much more helpful my friend.
Super video. Referred to it a couple times during swap. Trusted his judgement on LED suggestion. He covered all the bases. Looking forward to the sun goin' down to try these puppies. 2014 Ody Touring. Perfect fit. THANK YOU.
I got started on this project, took one look at the passenger side and said "oh there's got to be some trick to this". You video was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing/saving me the time in figuring it out the hard way.
The only tricky part is removing the connector. Especially on the passenger side. This video has the best explanation for the connector which made it quite simple. Great video!
Thanks for the careful camera work! I just needed to verify that the bulb itself can be freed without a screwdriver. You can work around the air duct if your arms are skinny enough. (Low beam)
Passenger high beam bulb was really tough with very tight space, and it was kind of stuck since I never changed for 9 years. Finally I had to use an adjustable wrench to turn and get the bulb out from the headlight hole . Wrench gave some leverage and was able to turn, came out pretty quickly
Thank you for the how to video. Very helpful! However I am getting a DRL warning light since installing these bulbs. Any chance did you experience this warning light situation? We have a 2013 Honda odyssey and the specs aligned with these bulbs. I contacted the Amazon seller they said when the headlight and drl share the same bulb, the system will offer different voltage to different modes so there are 2 brightness. 12V for headlight and high brightness, 6V for drl and dim brightness. The working voltage of the bulbs is 9-30v, so the power is not enough for the bulbs to work normally. I was surprised to hear this. Any thoughts?
I just changed my high/low beams to LED on my 2011 EXL and both beams are working but noticed with the DRL are cause battery drain and giving me a Check Charging System and Battery icon flash warning. I then Continuity video was obtained in the vicinity of the subject’s residence. I then continued driving and then my vehicle stopped due to dead battery. Is there a certain brand of LED bulbs for the Honda Odyssey?
That's very weird - I've never had that happen. I've tried auxito and been pretty happy, but it didn't last as long as I hoped. Lasfit is another one I've tried that seemed pretty good
Did the DRL flicker or was bright after install? Some led bulbs seem to do that and have to have a canbus added to it and it stops the flickering but doesn’t dim the high beam. Kind of makes it bright.
Maybe you could help me I don't know if I can leave pictures in the comment spot but my low beam headlight doesn't appear to be where it should be and I'm having trouble finding it so that I can change it
Hmm... When you turn the lights on, is there a light on that side? I guess maybe that's why you're changing it. I wonder if the whole thing got dislodged. Do you see the empty opening where the bulb should go? Can you find the low beam on the other side?
@@JasonsHonestReviews thank you for replying. Now I'm just trying to figure out how easy would be to change it over to a regular halogen set up so that I could upgrade to LED with the adaptable bulbs and access it without having to remove the front bumper cover because it appears that is the only way to change this bulb
@@Metalmatchhead I don't think so. I just put led bulbs in mine and didn't have to take the bumper off. You can send me a picture if you want. jsfootester@gmail.com
Just remove the wheels, remove the plastic fender skirt, open the back of the bulb and replace it. From under the wheel well. So much faster and easier.

I’m so impressed that you were able to show the steps fully, going to attempt this project this weekend! Thank you 😁
Thanks, Debbie! Good luck getting it done :)
Thank you! This was great. That passenger's side bulb was tricky, but your video was a big help!

hi thank you very much for this - passenger side low beam so probably the easiest one to change but i was lost before I saw this video
You're welcome. Glad this was helpful. And yes, it is a lot harder or easier depending on which bulb you have to change

Great video - we will see how I do.😂

I don’t see your bulb recommendations. Great video though. I will be attempting to replace my low beams later today. Thank you.
Oh you're right! Halogen high beam

Halogen low beam

Great video, very detailed. The link of the LED low beam does not work
Oh! Thanks for letting me know. I'll fix that.
Thanks

@@JasonsHonestReviews I think what I'm dealing with is an HID setup. It isn't something I thought about checking on when I bought the Odyssey used

you cant adjust the high beam?
Not that I'm aware of
I didn't see you replace high beam bulb on driver side. But overall, great video.
The difficult part for me was getting the cord disconnected, of course you skipped past that
I apologize - couldn't quite do it with one hand!
