Manx GP/Classic TT 2023

Our Manx GP trip in under 3 1/2 minutes. Brilliant trip overalll, first time to the Manx, my opinion not a patch on the TT., however a good time was had regardless.
It was good to see Guy and Samantha. Last time we saw Guy was 2018 and Sam 2017. The weather was typically Manx, one minute applying factor 50 the next looking into applying lard for another layer of skin. Great food, Mexican, Indian and Chinese. We even had a street BBQ with our very own mastechef. Thanks also to guy for bussing us about in the Shaguar all weekend.
Guy’s mate Peter, provided his expert knowledge on our very own commentated lap of the circuit, thank you Peter.
The spitfire display was really good, however drinking cans in the park while spectating was an experience I haven’t enjoyed in a while, I thought the locals might have started throwing ten bob bits at us thinking we were vagrants.
The hotel was really good, highly recommend the Empress. Spotless, great rooms, reasonably priced, good service and a great breakfast.
Unfortunately due to logistics and time constraints we couldn’t meet up with some of our friends, we were gutted however hopefully we will see them soon. All in all great weekend, roll on TT 2024!
