Burstarse Falls in Castle Crags Wilderness: PCT Day Hike!

The day hike to beautiful Burstarse Falls is one of the most popular in upper Northern California. You'll hike the Pacific Crest Trail through Castle Crags Wilderness and enjoy gorgeous scenery that includes shaded forest, small streams, and full views of Castle Crags high above, plus a vista across Castle Creek Valley to Grey Rocks. Best in spring when Burstarse Falls flows strongest, but still a great hike any time of year (occasional winter snow).
