The story about the Queen that always makes me smile is when she was out on a walk and two American tourists went up to her and said ''You look just like the Queen'' to which she replied ''That's very reassuring'' 😀
I love the fact our Queen was a car mechanic in the war. Our beloved Queen took on a role that was not meant for her (her uncle David was to be King) and she did it with commitment, love, grace, humility, and humour. She gave her whole life to being our Queen. Oh she will be absolutely missed in this world.
I'm sure she learned a lot from her father, who was thrust into a role for he was not trained for, as a Spare, or even wanted. But coped with Dignity and Grace.
Even as an American, it still feels like a loss of a family member. She was Queen before I was born. She was a constant in a world of change -- I feel a lot older, now that she is gone.
Same here! I was born in '72 so she had already been Queen 20 years by the time I arrived. :) I've never missed someone so much to whom I've never met nor even knew I existed! Lol.
I hope she really enjoyed her jubilee. She most definitely earned, deserved it. Though she wasn't well I hope she thoroughly enjoyed it . Rest in peace your majesty ♥ as ever, love and respect from Arkansas U.S.A.
As an American I'm surprised by the negative comments. I thought they were only reserved for U.S. Presidents. Blaming the Queen for everything that occured since the great flood is ridiculous.
I don’t think they understand the role of a constitutional monarch. The monarch is bound by the constitution to appoint a PM that is democratically elected. She had the right to encourage, to advise and to warn. That’s it- the PM can take or leave her advice - she basically plays the role of a very very well informed, very experience diplomat and therapist to the PM. The monarch was constitutionally restricted to give her formal support to whatever a democratically elected gov elected to do. So it has been her entire reign. And I fail to see what power people believe the Queen had to go back in time to stop any British atrocities that occurred under the Crown of a long dead Absolute Monarch from her long dead ancestors?
A part of my childhood gone with her. A life-long anti-monarchist, I, however loved and respect her an exception of a monarch. So beautiful a person, so graceful, strong, calm, humane and wise a person at the pinnacle of power to emulate! The world will be much poorer with her. In these times lacking statesmen, she was a stateswoman to adore and admire. I wish other heads of states can follow in her footsteps. She was my fairytale queen I had grown up with - even since I, as a boy of 10, saw here when she came visit our small town in 1961 (and I happened to shake her hand as here motorcade passed in front of us children in front of the crowd lining the road to see and wave at her!).
Love the Corgi outfit.....It was Elizabeth’s time, but as an American, I am going to miss her grace, elegance, intellect and calm demeanor. Rest well. ❤️❤️❤️
Elizabeth was going on 26 in the April after her Father, King George the 6th, died suddenly on 6 February 1952. She had 2 very young children, Charles, 3 yrs old and Anne, just 18 months old. She was a very young lady indeed. Imagine any girl of 25 years of age today, becoming Monach over a huge Empire as it was back then. We had the Empire Games in Australia, in Perth...and after that, I think they became the Commonwealth Games. A steadfast Queen for sure. Much respect and admiration...and love. xxx
Rest soft our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. Thank you very much for your wonderful service as Monarch over 70 years and for the happy memories you leave behind. During this very sad period, may happy memories soon dry the tears of each member of the Queen's family and also friends and Nations who are now mourning. Congratulations to Prince Charles on his appointment as King Charles III. We know that the King loved and respected the Queen very much and will lead the United Kingdom, with the support of the Queen Consort by his side, with the same vigour that was passed to him from his mother Queen Elizabeth II.
The world has to carry on without her, a huge void she has left behind. Leaders around the world should take stock of their own arrogance and selfishness, and look at how the late Queen carried herself throughout her life. She will be missed...
God kept Queen Elizabeth on the throne for so long bcause she's special in God's eyes, thus her presence meant a lot for both UK&the world. Glory be to God in the highest amen. May God grant her soul a peaceful rest. Connected from Southern Cameron Africa.
It’s been a year and I still can’t get over the loss of the queen I’m 56 but as I was growing up she was always there we go forward but it’s difficult 🏴🏴
🇺🇸 We are all simply less than with her passing. She would however, want us to find our own way of building a better world. I will miss the sparkle in her eyes; almost as if she knew something we all did not. Queen, Stateswoman, Leader, Mother, Grand Lady.
I loved and respected the queen Elizabeth ii she had old fashioned values and showed them in the modern world a lover of horses and her dog's a great example to many people an amazing woman who had true Christian values a legend in her own time what a wonderful woman what a legend 🦘🦘🦘💓💓💓
I'll miss the old girl. I'll miss her on our currency. Hope the Corgis will be ok. Queenship was thrust onto her and she took it in her stride for 70 years. Wow!
This made my throat close up. Our street, who to be fair have been known to hold afternoon tea & Prosecco party for the 2nd year birthday of a cat & have a gin party for the literal opening of a new flavour of crisps - plan to hold a Gin & Prosecco Wake for the Queen on the day of her funeral. It is a bank holiday
Such a terrible loss, wish we could have kept this precious gem just a little longer, reunited with her beloved husband for eternity, until we meet again, this world has lost a irreplaceable treasure.
Queen Elizabeth is one of the best people ever. The amount of time and effort she put into public service, for her country and other ones. Definitely a great model. Amazing person.
Well, all wonderful commentary except for the one on Harry. He is a grown man. Charles and William need to recognize it and let him be who he wants to be.
There are many women called "Queens", none comes close to the incredible stature that she brought to the title. In the states, there is Queen Latifa and Queen Serena. I just throw my head back and laugh so hard.

I am Indonesian...but after watching and reading all publication about the Queen...I come to do respect to her. She is legend and beloved....
respect what? the royal family should be executed not respected..
Like any mother passing the Queen should be remembered with humility, dignity, respect and love - thanks the project 🙏
It is so odd to think that there will never be another Queen of England in our life times...
Tears in my eyes...feel like we lost a caring Godmother to the world

You know, i believe this.
Hell, I’m a proud American myself and I’m sad the Queen passed. She won a lot of people’s respect and love.
NOT MINE!
Katie is a great girl.
Her comments are fascinating. She is wise, has a great insight, loving, humourus and
refreshing!

Probably the best video the project has produced

South Australians are leaving their porch lights on tonight in honour of the light our gracious Queen brought to the world. Join us.

She was Strong, Humane and Committed. RIP.
I do miss her
Love the Aussies. They get the Brit sense of humour and we get theirs.
Such a terrible loss, wish we could have kept this precious gem just a little longer, reunited with her beloved husband for eternity, until we meet again, this world has lost a irreplaceable treasure.
Same wish
R.i.P Queen Elizabeth her rein was unparrell travelled far & wide .

Not British but I looked up to her - we need more people like her and less like Harry and Megan
Rip queen you will always be loved ☹️☹️
Most of the world hates the nonce parasitic monarchy
NO SHE WON"T!
King Charles the third, has some pretty, pretty big high heals to fill !!
A long reign of Charles iii is the greatest threat to the survival of the British Monarchy.
Rip ❤️🔥😭😇
RIP.
Rip. We all miss you. Tommy will miss you the most though. You were the best.
So very sad. Words don’t express this loss x
I think its cool she drove herself when she could and still rode horses.
@ 3:17 Look at the cloud, Looks like the queen is looking down on us.
Super homely woman from the start!!
Thank God the ‘republicans’ in Australia have never succeeded in taking away my right to call this amazing woman my Queen.
bro what
She was indeed an amazing woman , she brought great stability and a sense of pride to many Commonwealth countries.
Love u mum

She die from a 💔, after the prince passed😔
Good lord, Australians, she's "Your Majesty" not "Your Royal Highness".
Love Kathy Lette

My original comment was deleted - interesting.
What were "they" giving her that made her health decline so rapidly?
☹️🙁😢🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭nooooooooooooooooooooooooo
The project sucks
No, a vacuum cleaner sucks.
The way Kathy Lette was talking you'd think it was a happy occasion, she was enjoying being on stage.

What a pity you don't know the difference between HRH and HM. Embarrassing.
Ofcourse feminism had to get involved smh
How about we don't say "the family had problems with Harry" and recognise the challenges Harry had to face with them not fully accepting his wife?
Do you think she was a femminist? Click end. Bye.
Why even ask such a ridiculous question.
What did she actually do for the pea ple???
What is a pea ple?
History is available in books and internet.
That it we have all heard all about her life now over the past 2 days...move on
