Love it. I am kinda new (i played the game before they reworked the starter ship) to the game. I am scared to go unsecured farming trade union mission. But now i see 6 guys going wild with big ass ships in wild and they have a blast make my day. Subscribed.
1) When it comes to frequently pirated unsecure areas, just try not to take uneccesary risks. Pirates are very dangerous, but they're also very predictable. If you're worried about being pirated, think about your situation as if you yourself are a pirate. Look at an unsecure system and think "could I get a lot of kills camping here? are there other people trying to haul that I could pirate?", stuff like that. You'll find yourself judging whether or not a system is safe much easier. 2) Never forget about warplogging. You can warp log while entering or leaving a system. For leaving, if you warp to another system and alt + f4 as your spedometer freezes, you'll disconnect and your ship won't show up in the next system. You can also do this upon entering a system to see if anyone's there, just alt + f4 as soon as you see the player list in the bottom right. It's worth noting that the timing on the second method is a lot more tight so you need to react quickly if there's 2 people on the player list 3) No joke, wild is much safer than unsecure. Even if you permanently lose your ship, wild is an area that's just too big for pirates to cover. Combine that with a player who knows how to avoid pirates, and most people won't be hunting for ships. As of this update the ores get better the farther out you go, so don't go *right* to the edge of the galaxy just in case people (like me) patrol that area, but try to stay close to it. May i know how did you get reputation on the 3 warring factions? Cause im trying to figure out a way to become completely neutral in terms of faction standing.
Since I'm aligned with lycentia, I did a lot of faction warfare until I was max rank with them pretty quickly. From there on its just a matter of bribing the other two factions. Reset your standing with them in the citadel, then buy a ton of salvage drops off the market and give them to the other factions
