The first two were playing an act once they got called out and tried to act all tough. The woman was clearly acting the entire time trying to come up with the most Hollywood story. Lucky had a good thing going but Robert never stuttered or stumbled and the moment he said his story it was game over.

I'm sure the prosecution spun the angle that it wasn't self-defense because of the robbery element, but that's still absurd. I was convinced it was Lucky, but uh yeah, thanks, justice system.

I'm not sold on his story. I don't think Robert did self defence, I think it was actually robbery gone wrong that became murder especially from his story and this story is just what he told the jury in court to reduce jail time but I think the judge could see through the lie and gave 31 years BUT I could be wrong. The rest gave themselves away. When they were telling their stories, all used hand gestures. One used a menacing stance and demeanor. Robert was the only one who stood like they had been part of the system. Military or prison, they get the gestures while talking out of you. Plus 90-95% of the time he was in parade rest. Another system “thing” that they do. Also his facial mannerisms. The other people moved too much and their faces where too “I’ve never been in jail ever/for a long time for anything real”. Something about the way they hold their face while talking is different too.

Kinda late, but you honestly believe a random stranger abducted him at a random train stop, invited him over for drinks... And then pulled a gun on him and called his friend to come over? He also decided not to call the cops and robbed the man for his belongings afterwards and used the mans car to drive home? I think this is the fake story he gave court to try to get out of what he actually did. He broke into someone's house, he then murdered them and stole their money and belongings and drove off in their vehicle. No doubt in my mind Robert meant to rob the home, I'm not sure he intended to murder the guy but I do think he broke into someone's home and tried to rob it and then the guy he was robbing pulled a gun on him after catching him mid theft and he grabbed a pan and started smacking the home owner to death. That's the story I believe and what the court most likely believed.

I knew it was Robert from the beginning, dang I feel bad for him.. that was an impossible situation to be put in
Kinda late, but you honestly believe a random stranger abducted him at a random train stop, invited him over for drinks... And then pulled a gun on him and called his friend to come over? He also decided not to call the cops and robbed the man for his belongings afterwards and used the mans car to drive home? I think this is the fake story he gave court to try to get out of what he actually did. He broke into someone's house, he then murdered them and stole their money and belongings and drove off in their vehicle. No doubt in my mind Robert meant to rob the home, I'm not sure he intended to murder the guy but I do think he broke into someone's home and tried to rob it and then the guy he was robbing pulled a gun on him after catching him mid theft and he grabbed a pan and started smacking the home owner to death. That's the story I believe and what the court most likely believed.

He always says overly weird things. Even if its sometimes funny and a joke, like damn mood killer. In another similar video where they matched people to crimes, this guy kept saying "he looks like he likes kids" to one of the contestants.
