The boardroom story matches my observations in the corporate world. Although I never got anywhere near a boardroom, the profound lack of presumed ability among many in middle and upper management was simply incredible. This is the first time I have ever heard anyone with a voice as loud as Doomberg articulate this.

Trudeau definitely did not take after his father Pierre , who was a statesman, a diplomat and no one matched his wit ,a bit like Poutin. I had the romance his kid would be similar. I d say he does take after his mother" Maggie" who divorced Pierre and tried to damage his carrier. Apparently , when asked what he thought of her latest book he answered " I haven’t read it but I don’t know many women who’ve written more books than they’ve read. Ouch! The guy was a pistol!😂 I agree with the chicken about young Justin. We liked his face for awhile , truth is there’s really no one waiting in the wings . Polieve , and a lot of Canadian politicians and wanna be’s are zionists, after all a lot of Nazi’s escaped to Canada, it’s our dark side. Really enjoyed your show . Will watch again,❤🇨🇦and subscribe

"Russia have a habit of bombing their way from east to west". They don't, and they have only moved around 30km west in 3 years of war (it would take until 2241 to reach Berlin), it's been an unmitigated disaster for them. It really gets my goat when people speak of Russia as being hard as nails (they think it makes them sound knowledgeable), it's a puerile myth, the reality is that Russia is deeply incompetent, wreckless and desperate, facing a country a 10th of its size running on western charity. And the only time they bombed themselves from east to west was when the US was giving them aid, the same aid and assistance and expertise they were given after the collapse of the Soviet Union to build up their oil industry, though USAID, FDI / joint Ventures, privatization expertise, advisory/training, technology ...basically helping the basket case avoid guaranteed disintegration. Spat it all back in your face. That's Russia.

I wonder what mark you will give USA/NATO after being humiliated by a bunch of sheepherders in sandals.
NB! The aid the Soviets got from the West amounted to 3 % of the munition they spent during WWII.
Also, if Russia is such a basket case, when will Kiev take back Crimea?

I think Doomie deserves some credit for his appraisal of the war, however I tend to agree with you that the war has gone very badly for Russia. What are they winning? 300k dead, expanded NATO, evidence that they struggled and failed to conquer a small, weak nation. I'm just hopeful and glad to see that Trump can wind it down and we can all take a step back.

Does Doomberg ever review the USGS data on TRR available in the US or does he just make things up?
Rocks don’t lie. The SEC protects investors in oil and gas producers by requiring them to publish proved reserves. Doomberg seems to prefer gambling on our energy future by using the magical TRR number. Shortsighted as always, just like Congress. The next quarter will be fine to H with your grandkids.

    • @Lycogol

@ that’s a dodge. We all make assessments all the time without bringing experts. My assessment is that climate change is real and is caused by man’s activities. I think a majority of scientists that do not have conflicts of interest agree. I think it is narrow minded not to include climate change in your energy evaluations.
