Awesome video! I've been rocking an RM-75 for about 12 years now. I finally decided to upgrade. I got the Golden Age tuners and tailpiece. I'm going to change the nut and bridge in the near future.

Good choice! It's nice that this way you can have an instrument that really becomes your own sound

What do you think about a bone saddle? Louder? Sustain? Tone?
How would a bone saddle change these things?
    Also on a' Loar' LM-310
    Are the tuners' Grover?
Some say they are but can't find any information verifying that.

Hey there! I never tried a bone saddle on a f5 mandolin, so I couldn't tell. I had it on a Brazilian mandolin, but it's a different beast altogether. I tried to zoom in on a photo of the LM-310 but there was nothing written

Hi there! I bought it about 14 years ago, so my memory may fail a bit, but I'm almost sure that I replaced the nut with a bone one. I couldn't find this on the specs
