@@the_hermits_cave Got it today. Love it! I've also ordered a retro looking case for it today. Also glad US Games no longer prints copyright messages on the cards although seeing the year 1971 on a RWS deck makes me really happy :P
It's a lovely deck and I loved the music you chose to accompany the walkthrough, gentle and old fashioned. (FYI Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel). I'd love to see you do a shout out to how different mass market creators are doing great things with art and production quality in various ways.
I think we have very similar taste in deck art 😆 The Old English tarot you compared to at the beginning is on my wishlist - I adore those card backs. To me, the back is hugely important- I’ve got this notion it influences the deck energy. Thanks for this great walkthrough- this one’s going on my list priority 😊
This is so beautiful... such a work of Art.. the music in the Background is very well chosen. Thank you this is so nice to watch I looked at this Video already a couple of Times. So this is on my List.. wow
This artwork is so beautiful, I love it and the backs are so pretty too its on my wish list 🥰 I like the idea of using the blank card as a significator, lovely walkthrough my friend 😍❤️
I’ve just ordered this deck now that it’s dropped in price. I want to use it with Lisa Papez’s book when it arrives. But I’m not sure I could write on the cards as she suggests. If I do, I’ll need to buy a back-up copy for sure. Thanks for the review. It’s a good one.
Received mine yesterday and I absolutely love it!!!! Check out his Lenormand deck too, you will love it! They go together... It's called Old Style Lenormand 🙂
Omg these are so stunning. I have a confession... I was looking at these online and passed them up bc it didn't show Any pictures of the cards at all and now seeing them and can't buy them now I'm so sad. I wasn't going to buy a deck I can't see the cards by I'm very pick
Although I don’t like using tarot for yes/no I do agree that it’s doable. I just struggle sticking to yes or no and end up giving a longer answer 😅🤦🏻♀️ Love the Death card! I like the artwork coming out of the frame, I love decks that do that. It’s like the imagery is coming out of the card into the world if that makes sense 😅 as opposed to when we envision ourselves within the world of tarot. I love all the knights 🩵 really nice looking deck! I might have to add it to the list. Look forward to the Black Violet tarot on Thursday 😊
@@the_hermits_cave Funny that "The Old Style Tarot" produced in Russia in 2021 as "The Vintage Tarot". There are 2 decks by him in the same style) Old Style Lenormand and Vintage Oracle
He also has an oracle deck that completes his trilogy of decks. I have these all 3 in the original Russian, as well as the 2 English versions. Hopefully the oracle deck will also be translated as its the most unusable without reading Russian. They don't correlate with a known system, like tarot and lenormand, so the cards are only pretty pictures so far.
Hi, Simon! What is that deck you showed at the beginning that you said was similar in style that people said was an AI deck? Flowered backs. It looks really great, I'd love to check it out. Thanks!
Omg these are so stunning. I have a confession... I was looking at these online and passed them up bc it didn't show Any pictures of the cards at all and now seeing them and can't buy them now I'm so sad. I wasn't going to buy a deck I can't see the cards because I'm very picky but no one would buy a deck without seeing the cards. So I contemplated for a bit and passed them up and got "Conjuring Cards" by Jake Richards it's about real Appalachian ppl who made that same deck many decades ago and they are actually really great. You should try them but there is a book called backwoods witchcraft that explains a lot of what we believed and our religion and spells because I'm in the Appalachian mountains it sits close to my heart. I usually don't like Oracle decks but this deck has many cards and book interprets the meaning I've been researching how to read playing. Card fortune decks and black(spades, clubs) and red(diamonds, hearts) generally good cards. Its kinda like the gypsy Oracle Deck. Ty for video now I have to write this deck down in my list. I love everything about it.
The "Hand of God" (in the 8 of Wands) is reminiscent of, _Creazione di Adamo_ , the Creation of Adam. Love this deck! Thanks for reviewing it.
Yes! Thank you! 🙏🏼
@@the_hermits_cave Painted by Michelangelo.
Ordered yesterday after seeing the video. This is exactly what I look for in a deck. Hopefully it will arrive soon!
Hope you enjoy it! It’s wonderful 😍

The Fool's 'doll on a stock's is called a marotte
Ooh good to know, I always wondered as I love Jester images.
Thank you, Simon, for your review. I just bought mine. I’ve fallen in love with it.

I love it too, such a beautiful deck!
Love that Four of Swords - the Knight spending a night in contemplation before taking his lifelong vows. Guarded by his future companion knights.

Wow, what a suggestion. Nope I could never do that.

They’re still available 😍
Oneness Emporium
This deck goes well with my "The Tarot of Winnie"
I'm so glad to see you do a walkthrougg.
😍
Yes, that's how I was taught to read my significator card as well. Find it in the deck and look at card before and after it
Oh Simon this deck is amazing I love it 😮
Isn’t it wonderful? 😍
Absolutely amazing deck, I can’t wait to receive my copy especially now that I have seen your walkthrough 😊. Thanks for the video Simon 🙏🏻🥰
You are so welcome! Enjoy your new deck, Moran 😍
I like this deck
Ohhh I want this deck. I love it. I like Rider Waite decks. I like vintage style.
Perfect combination!

A very attractive deck which I had no plans to buy until I saw this! 😆
What is the name of the other deck you showed at the beginning, please? It's beautiful, but I couldn't catch the name.
It’s just called the Vintage Tarot on Etsy
Thank you so much-- 💓 your content and really appreciate your quick reply!!

Which deck is the one that you showed at the beginning?
The first deck was Vintage Tarot on Etsy
Thank you so much for your answer! ❤
