Miswa at Patola, Lechon Kawali Sisig & Regent Golden Corn 🇵🇭 | Trying Filipino Food Jackson Heights

  • I went to Jackson Heights in Queens to try Filipino foods for the first time. Watch me react to miswa at patola (misua soup) a soup of wheat vermicelli and sponge gourd. I also try lechon kawali sisig and a delicious pansit bihon. The Pinoy restaurant I went to is also known for Inihaw BBQ Skewers after 4pm so I'll have to return. For a Filipino snack, I try Regent golden sweet corn. This restaurant had a great selection of dishes from the Philippines to try and it is one of the best in the "Little Manila" neighborhood of Queens, NYC.

    39-04 64th St, Queens, NY 11377
Reggie Ate: miswa, cold kawali sisig, pancit bihon (Filipino noodles) and Filipino Golden Sweet Corn Snack

Various Filipino dishes are usually dumped onto one plate so that the sauces often mix together. You can eat the dishes in any order and in various combinations.
The fork is used to load food onto the spoon or can be used to spear a large chunk of meat or vegetable while it is being sliced with the edge of the spoon (this works better with metal spoons).

Similar to the old fashioned sisig except with the mixture of vinegar, mayonnaise and probably ginger which makes it a big different. It doesn't need to be oz like sizzling. Both are good and tasty...Enjoy it😋
