Would a couple inches higher be better so the back paws arent being dragged or would that throw the dogs off balance too much?
Maybe with their feet a 1/4 or 1/2 inch off the ground but not any higher. You want it to feel natural to them.

The latex tubing seems like a poor choice, it seems it would cut off circulation intact it looks like a legit turnaquert

Looking at your design, would it not be difficult for the dog to pee?
Dog had no difficulties with the rubber tubing style saddles, V shape for male dogs and X shape for females. Sometimes they poop but it rinses off easily and nothing to worry about.

In the old days, they'd just put the pup out of his misery, not make money and become instafamous on an animal's suffering. The dogs can't kill themselves and they can't talk so they can't ask for euthanasia so how do you know they even want to be alive in these conditions. It is extremely selfish of humans to keep their pets alive no matter what. Animal cruelty not animal rescue.
Thanks for your valid opinion. Most folks viewing have a different mindset than yours I hope. Lol at how sadly mistaken if you think I've made money or instafame from my buddy Roscoe here. He finally died old for a pug not long ago. He told me that he LOVED his wheels every day.
yes it would be nice if they could tell you when its time to let them go to Rainbow Bridge Land but paralyzed legs doesn't totally qualify as a death sentence.
Dogs actually give you a signal when they are ready to go,,,,,they stop eating. It's their way of saying "I'm done, time to go"
I wonder if you ever had a close relationship with an animal? Just like people most animals want to live as full a life as possible. This helps them to do that. Look at animals that use these devices. They are very happy to have independent mobility and live their lives with the joy any other non-disabled animal do.
You can't be serious. Dogs can't walk for several reasons and MOST are NOT life threatening. Would you put a person out of their 'misery' if they couldn't walk, urinated on themselves, can't see or hear any more? Animals are no different...as a matter of fact I believe you're forgetting you are one. We are just the highest in the order (well maybe not you). You're a complete idiot. PS...this pug is clearly living a better life than you...lol. Do better.
