      First step to make in India is assemble in India, next is develop product component echo system in India, which results in 100% make in India

      Samsung and Nokia, among other companies, have been involved in assembly work since the advent of the smartphone era. The manufacturing process has become increasingly complex over the years, making it imperative to allocate appropriate incentives to enhance the ecosystem.

    Indian currency depreciated by 30 % since 2014.
    Two characteristics of developed nation - strong currency and robust export and mark in global supply chain.

      Developing nation needs a weak currency to exports goods, look at the yen, japanese keep it weak even if their economy is strong because they are export dependent.

    Great to hear spirited minister like Rajeev. GOI should seriously consider to develop Data Centres powered by sustainable energy in a PPP mode in majority of states, parallel to private industry. This can cater to the public services of the states with greater security and to the start ups in initial stages.

    The only way India would become a $300 Billion Manufacturing Industry is when the $ depreciates significantly and is next to worthless.
    India do not have the means or the infrastructure to achieve that kind of success.

    See i myself vote for BJP and accept what they have done in last 9 years, but you have to ask tuff questions. How much value addition will be there in future how much is Target. These are d2c tech, what about deeptech innovations?? Why are we there?? What govt is doing to encourage more deeptech startups??. Certainly agree that we have taken giant strides in last decade but we are not the best. Accept your shortcomings so that you can improve it

    Indian blue collared workers have poor ethics and there is too much socio-political influence. We are just replacing cheap chinese labor from firms that are re-shoring manufacturing. Bulk of the manufacturing is low grade tech for inclusive growth.

      @arinjoynandy4785 9 месяцев назад

      yes, you can't just jump a cycle, you will need primary low end manufacturing and then once the work force is ready, we need to move to high end, it is a slow process, but atleast it is starting

      Ethics as a society has to improve but that comes from maturing as a nation and as a society. Good example is swachh bharat now we don't litter as much as we use to. It is only a matter of time our work ethic will improve as we mature as a manufacturing hum. You can already see our maturity in services sector

      The same blue collar workers are building weapon systems, aerospace components, etc. How did the Indian companies like TATA, Godrej, Mahindra, L&T, etc. grow so much if our workers have poor work ethics? Don't draw conclusions by looking at the local garages in your locality. 😅

      If you are from Japan, let me tell you that your country has awarded Mahindra the Deming prize for quality in 2007. This is 2024 and Mahindra makes more tractors than your Kubota or Mitsubishi. We also made the first fighter jet in Asia in 1964, when your country failed to make one (Nakajima Kikka, a copy of the German fighter jet). We have something called Unified Payment Interface which your country's lawmakers are trying to learn from India. Wake up kid.... every country is the best in some or the other area.

    • @prakashrajput5332
      @prakashrajput5332 9 месяцев назад +2

      @@tirthpatel4624 I don't understand why we underestimate ourselves. We can directly leap frog to completely manufacturing anything in India. At this pace we won't be a developed nation by 2047. Government is already incentivising manufacturing in India then why not expect complete manufacturing. I don't think we should do the same mistake we did before 91. India to compete with a country like China we need to leap frog. We can't be developed nation if we import Chinese products and assemble here. We need to create our own products.

      Bro there 15% value addition now, china has 40%, even if you steal tech then also you can achieve 100% value addition (ex:China). Saying it's only assembly is wrong but saying being made in india is also wrong. But focus on increase in value addition in next few years
