Thank you so much, I have always loved fabrics and have sewn for over 60 years, I have never hand quilted…you have inspired me to give it a go! Happy quilting to everyone!
Ive stumble across your channel. Thankyou for this video, I love making quilts and have always been scared to hand quilt but i did one. Not perfect but I love it, so hopefully I will get better with each quilt.
Loved the demo and what you said about the actual stitch length……that gives me peace of mind just to go for it . What a beautiful book of fabrics recording a little of your journey of quilts 💕….just love that . Thank you for your sharing 🌸
Thanks for sharing with us the way you hand quilt, everyone does it different but it's so lovely to see it being done. I love the book you made of the fabric you have done in your quilts.
Thanks for the tutorial Bec - its been a while since I've done any hand quilting. Your Liberty book is wonderful. I love all the colours you have used in your quilts and its a lovely record too xx
Hi Bec…. thanks for a great ‘how to’….❤ I’m about to have a go at hand quilting my first big quilt, I’d love to see a ‘how to baste’ tutorial… I’m rather daunted by that and the lack of a huge table…!!! ( the floor is definitely out as my poor old body can’t cope with that…!!!) thanks again 😊😊
Great tutorial Bec! I’m doing some hand quilting at the moment with Aurifil 12 weight and my quilter’s knots were too heavy and I was struggling to pull them through - now I’m using the knots you used and it’s so much better! My stitches are pretty wonky but I don’t care!! Your quilt is beautiful X reecie
Thanks Bec, this was so helpful and as usual inspiring to start and give it a go. Do you hand stitch the first squares any time or always machine stitch?
Love your 9 patch! I live in the USA. What brand fabric is the Betsy? I have never heard of it. I'm just getting back into quilting since I'm a new empty nester. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for all the tips! Your quilt book is mesmerizing!
Loved the book, it tells a lot of stories and good memories.
Such a lovely quilter.
As a paper planner and quilter myself, i feel a kindred sole. Great job you have done!
I love the quilt book. It'd be nice to have photos of the finished quilts to go along with the swatches.
Sooooooo beautiful ----I love your stitching ❤
Thank you, Bec! This is a lot of work but I can imagine the satisfaction and the pleasure of creating such beautiful quilts with one's own hands❤❤
Great tutorial
Thanks for the great tips! 🥰👍🏻 Love your idea of a quilt book with the fabrics glued in! I am definitely going to start that! Thanks

I found some “tatting thread” At Hobby Lobby a while back, that was variegated, and that was so fun to quilt with.
!
Beautiful! How do you pick what pattern and where to hand stitch?
Great video. Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
Thankyou so much Bec for showing how you hand quilt. Could you do a tutorial on how you prepare your quilt ready for hand quilting?
As in basting the quilt? That’s the most dreaded part!
Give bamboo batting a whirl-that’s all I use now!

Hi - Betsy is a Liberty of London Tana Lawn. A very fine cotton.
Yep Betsy is an iconic print made by Liberty of London.
Please, can you tell me the exact Bohin Needle size 7 you are using. There are many different kind of size 7. Thanks in advance.
I use a Bohin Straw Milliners needle!
