Love the way you work with old industrial machines, wobble workbench a suddenly a bot :). Like going from 1980s to the future. Amazing concept. Thank you for sharing :)
Thank you so much! I love the table on instagram! Also I remember I also put one coin in the missing knot hole and covered it with putty probably 15 years ago.. I thought that maybe in a few hundred or more years when somebody will burn it in a stove or furnace and sees the coin in the ashes will be wondering how it got there :)
Thank you John, I'm glad you like it! I first saw a robotic arm here on youtube and after some research i found that used ones are not as expensive as everyone thinks.. Takes some time and effort to make them work properly but it's well worth it!
I'l make more videos with it, don't worry :) I thought it was time to experiment a bit for a video or two.. I'm thinking of making a video just with sounds of tools but I always have a radio blaring in the background and youtube doesn't like that, it would get claimed right away..
I think you used all of the shop tools and equipment in this video...well maybe. And one I don't think I have seen before...one that cut into thin strips at one time...about 10 or 12...very cool. Have a great weekend, yes a day or two early, lol
Yes almost:), the machine arrived to the shop only a few months ago and it was one of the reasons we moved the robots to other part of the shop.. It can cut up to 36 2mm thin strips at the time so it really saves time and material. Thank you for watching Robert, Have a great weekend also! :)
Love the videos editing is fantastic. One thing never wear gloves on the grinder. Number one accident on these machines with fibres from the glove getting caught in wheel
I have watched almost all your videos and of course draw my eye these two amazing robotics arms, and i wonder how it could be sustainable for a business something like this?? with all my respect for your work. Thank you.
95% of work you see here on youtube are just youtube projects I do for the fun of doing them, mostly in my free time over the weekends. My actual projects are glulam structures, gazebos, carports, pergolas etc.. Some of them you can see here on my channel.. Thank you for watching Otium Art!
@@lignumchannel thank you for your answer. How it is the market for these type of constructions; Cause here in my country it seems to be sci-ens fiction. And something more your structures, if i understand it is special and unique projects not massive productions right?
Dear Sir, Yet another wonderfully original project that's sure to discourage any would be thief due to it's design. Beautiful work as always & a C.N.C machine to kill for. Very well done.

I don't even know what rain is.. Just kidding :D.. It needs some modifications for outdoor use I agree but for now , it will end up above the workshop with all the other youtube projects. Really lovely work; I love the combination of machining and hand finishing. A question (or two)! What glue do you use for the lamination? Are you sure it won’t delaminates outside?
That's why I used slightly sloped milling bit for the grooves, so I can pull the silicone mould of it and try to pour it in concrete sometime in the future.. Glad you think the same as me :D
