    We travel with 3 dobermans and set up is very similar. We have also used a "high line" where feasible, and this is great to help with tangling. We stretch a cable from tree to tree or to camper to tree ... if at a site where roomy enough.... and then use caribiners to attach 4 ft cables to our dogs harnesses. We knot the line to keep them from sliding across one another.
    Otherwise, they just do the typical tie outs and spaced apart enough to hopefully not get tangled. It's always a challenge, but we wouldn't have it any other way! They're the reason we got an RV. ❤🐾

      Glad our video helped! Yes, a camera gives you a piece of mind for sure. Many options out there. Wyze camera will only cost you 25 bucks. We use a Verizon mifi now, but we used to tether my phone as a hotspot for internet and use my wife’s phone to view the camera while we were out. We have unlimited data so if you don’t just be careful of usage. You can turn down the picture quality to use less data. So worth it and easy:)

    My husband and I are full timers going on year two. We travel with our three German Shepherds. They are all over 100 pounds. Because GSD are considered an 'aggressive breed',, we do have trouble finding spots, other than at BLM or national forests, to stay, or at a campground or an RV park. It is a challenge! Even though we don't leave them outside by themselves, people get nervous around them.
    Monitoring them while we are gone will give us piece of mind.

    This was great! We always worry about leaving our pup in the camper and you have shared some genius solutions. We just added another dog to our family and we're leaving to camp today...just yesterday the new puppy began barking at every bird and squirrel on our walks. I'm talking high pitched murder barking. He's been a sweet little guy on lead for weeks-Ugh! We work with a trainer, but I'm not sure that we can get this worked out in under 6 hours...hahaha! Luckily, we're not too far from home, so we can cut our trip short, if needed. Wish us luck!

    New subscriber here. We are currently looking at the Waggle monitor for our pups to keep track of temp and power outage. I like that you can do seasonal subscriptions and not pay for the months you don't use it camping. Curious if you considered them instead of the Motorola. Have you experienced any campgrounds that don't allow bully breeds? We were turned away from our very first trip due to our VERY friendly deaf pit due to their insurance company. Now it's our first question while booking. Great content by the way.

    Just stumbled on your channel. Love it and like that guys are regonally local to me. You mentioned the rules on dog size/weight, which is the most rediculous this I've seen. I have a 65# Boxer and a 23# Boston. Can you guess which is one is the greater troublemaker? Spoler Alert! its the Boston. The weight rule has to be made by someone without dogs.
    We now seasonal camp in Denver, PA (not the one you did the worst ever video on) and our dogs love camping. We bought our first TT for the same reasons you guys did.

    I have high hopes with our 2 small Pomchi dogs. We hope to camp at the lake this summer multiple times and are concerned about their barking, is it just kind of you just do it and figure it out along the trip? They have only been camping with us once and eventually settled down. One of our dogs gets ill while traveling, (not sure which one gets ill) trying to decide if we should medicate before travel? Thanks for you advice! 👍🏻🙏🏻

    • @FrankandTori
      @FrankandTori  3 года назад

      I have high hopes to for your little fur babies. It’s one of those things the more you do it the more they get used to it. We camped in our driveway for first few times to get them used to the camping. If you’re at a camp site and dogs are acting up we bring them into the camper to settle down if they don’t settle right away. For me biggest suggestion is if you stay calm they stay calm. If you feel anxious about it they can sense it and feed off of it. Our one dog gets sick sometimes, but we don’t medicate them .. yet. I’ve been taking them for more rides in the truck longer and longer to get them used to it. Longer rides I would consider motion sickness meds approved by the vet. Happy camping!

    Something that I have seen is that many RVers assume everyone wants a dog and there is something wrong if you don't. We have had dogs, loved them, and traveled with them. But now we enjoy traveling without having to make special arrangements for a dog.

There's no right or wrong way to RV, whatever makes you the happiest and what you enjoy the most is the way to go! And #teamflannelforlife!

      You may be Surprised. Dee is a big barker when she sees people and other dogs, but for the most part she became relaxed at campsites and for exception of some squirrels and ducks she’s usually pretty good. I know what you mean though. Before you start going the idea of the dogs barking gives some anxiety, but once you start doing it your dog might just surprise you:)

    Those cats were probably feral. Unfortunately, people toss their cats or kittens out, thinking that they can fend for themselves, and they can starve or freeze to death etc. The populations increase every spring and fall. I foster a colony which I had spayed/neutered. Ferals are more afraid of humans than strays....strays have had human contact at some point. It is a big problem in rural communities with farmland. I have several rescue cats....but I love dogs too! I would love to rescue a dog, no matter the breed, but pitties are so wonderful!

    • @FrankandTori
      @FrankandTori  3 года назад

      That's great what you do for the feral cat colony! It definitely felt like that was the situation we encountered. They were very skittish and kept their distance. We were also very close to farm country!

    • @susansandusky8687
      @susansandusky8687 3 года назад

      I got the help of a local TNR(trap, neuter, release) group and borrowed cages to trap the kitties all at one time(10). They helped me get an appointment with the SPCA to have them all fixed. Feral life is hard and we have had a lot of heartbreak. They live in the woods behind our house. We put out several plastic igloos with straw, and some chairs under our deck for shelter. We feed every morning with kibble and fresh water. There are so many more than just our colony, and we have lost many to floods, disease etc. But, we do have some plump, cute and sassy kitties that have a warm place. One sweet boy will let me pet him every morning at breakfast💓. You are obviously animal lovers....thank you!
