We take our two cats in our Class C. The only thing I would add is that its really unsafe to allow cats to get into the spaces under the bed, etc ESPECIALLY if you are leaving them in the RV alone to go sightsee, etc. Of course you would check the slides before closing, but there are wires, coils and hydraulic parts in there and cats can get stuck or trapped. Our female came out with lubricating grease on her after we had to unscrew the bed box to get her out. After that we devised blocking panels to keep them out. Our male likes to hide way up under the dash in front of the passenger seat , same problem with wiring there. Not easy to wriggle him out. We block that space with a bed pillow.

We're full time with our cat and dog in a TT. We put the cat box in the storage space under a bench seat. My husband placed a pet door and the box is accessible for cleaning from outside or inside. For travel, she loves to sit in his lap to look out the window. We learned it was less stress on her to let her roam in the truck than in carrier in truck. It took her a little while to get used to the movement. Loved seeing the fur babies. Thanks for sharing.

When we decided we were ready to take off in our motorhome full time, we knew Dozer would be coming with us. Even though he had been an indoor/outdoor cat we kept him inside. He escaped easily from leashes and hated the tent that we bought for him. About 6 months into our travels, we decided to try letting him out on his own. He loved it! When someone walked by, he hid underneath the motorhome. He never strayed far and came back home when we called. Now, we can leave the door ajar. He lets himself in and out. He is much happier now, so we are also.

We have lived full time in rv's for 3 years and just this year bought a house again, so we are now 1/2 time in our rv. We have two cats that travel with us with no real issues. They share food dishes, a water fountain and a litter box. They like to claw everything, so we have to use deterrents like double sticky tape on the furniture. They are a joy to have with us all the time.

I hope it's OK to mention the channel: S & S and the RV cats. They travel with 3 cats and are diligent about keeping them safe. The couple featured here seem like really nice people.

This is great to see. I’d love to see cats traveling in a Class B. Thank you for this video. It was great to see the four cats and then the new kitty traveling for the first time in an RV. 💕 🐈 🐈‍⬛

Thank u so much 4 this video. I am preparing now to go full time with my son & 4 cats. I was a little concerned about how it would turn out. I'm DEFINITELY going 2 do the scratching post thing on the table leg! That's genius! My cats Love To scratch & they are young. Not a year yet but getting close. So they r very energetic. I too use the pine pellets & puppy pads in the breeze box. Saves a ton of money. & no smell really. I love it!! God bless u all & thanks again!

Brilliant video; thank you so much. I have four cats and a 10-year-old Papillon (small bread dog) We will soon be journeying around Australia full time; as with other comments, I can see a couple of safety issues but they are so easy to address. Thank you so much, this has definitely give me a few tips

I lived in my van conversion for a year out of neccesity!! My long hair tourtie shell, Ms Fidget lived with me. She did quite well. She loved traveling. She'd lay by the back window and watch all the scenery.

I have my cat and I'm also babysitting my son's cat at the moment. I put harness on mine and take him outside. He also loves to ride in car. I dont usually have to put him in a carrier.

I have tried so many cat and dog harnesses on my 13 lb cat but I started wouldn't she was very young. She can escape out of every single one of them no matter what the advertising says. I saw a lady who said she puts a little cat shirt over the harness and this kept her kitty in. Not Lily!

We have 6 indoor cats and took 3 just to see what would happen. Pretty much the same. However, we have a travel trailer and had them in their kennel until we arrived at our camp site. First day they hid. By the time we left they acted the same at home. Next trip we are thinking of taking all 6. We only have 1 that might try to escape and he will have a halter on. Thanks for the video.

I was a nomad for 9 months. It was warm 99% from FL-CA. I had to protect my cat, so my windows were always 1/2 way down whenever I went to the Library, Store, Laundromat, Gym, Restaurant, Beach, Church or someone's house. I'm really surprised that I was never broken into, but I never want to forget why pet lovers can go to jail bec of a hot car.😢
~I've lived in an apt for 2yrs=$30K, so I'm getting ready to move out. I want to get a van and have a 5x5 hole cut into the floor and weld a 15x15x5 cage underneath, so that she'll have shelter from the sun/rain, a nice 4 way Breeze, and get to people-watch, but then still be able to jump back up into the van if something like a dog scares her. The grate of the cage needs to be about 1/8", so that a rodent can't crawl up inside, so maybe I'll wrap it with screen too to make it even more stealthy! The pavement will be hot, so I'll line the bottom with a cat bed.

Wondering if you know who the rv youtuber with multiple cats that has a habit of dumping cats when he leaves a spot? We recently had one come into a rescue he left behind and have been told he does /his consistently to "keep his videos fresh".

I have a smaller, foldable playpen for Lily. I would never open the door without her being safely inside! I'm alone so there's no one to hold her and I wouldn't even want to do that. 💕

I am slowly, slowly getting my little kitty Lily ready to live in my minivan. We only live in 600 ft² at the moment so it's already a pretty small area but after living in my camper van for 2 and 1/2 years, before Lily, this little cottage has seemed like a mansion! I could not part with my little girl! 💕

Please microchip your cat. Whether that cat has never left the house or not you never know what will happen. Always microchip your pets!!! Im shocked they haven't. That cat coukd get scared abd jump out the dooe, or out the screened window

One cat is entirely enough for me. I cant imagine four. Twice a day taking care of their excrement? That seems excessive to me. They need the litter robot or two! Empty box once a week and no smells.
