During set up backup process, there is a warning notification below that says: "EFS certificates are not include in this backup" and "A system repair disc in needed to restore a system image". Can you please elaborate on this and how does it matter?
Don't know if any have had this issue when creating a Windows 10 System Image but I tried to successfully create a system image 5 times and each time the status would reach 97% then stall and never fully complete. Then a thought dawned on me and that was to NOT hide my desktop icons and make sure the "Show desktop icons" was selected from the right mouse click desktop context menu. I was finally able to create a Windows 10 System Image after much frustration! 😃👍
That makes absolutely no sense. But then it's Microsoft, which has built a global monopoly on operating systems that make absolutely no sense, so I guess that shouldn't be surprising.
Sir, i am speechless, you are wonderful in explaining the whole process. Really I never enjoyed a topic description like yours. Really appreciated GOD Bless You 🙏🙏🙏
Just a quick question sir...can we use the same external hard drive in which we performed whole windows backup system image for storing other regular data or files like as a storage also??? And can we store other data on recovery usb thumb drive???
Very nice tutorial, thank you so much. But I´d like to know if the complete restoration will include all the installed programs and their settings, system settings, files, fonts, etc., or just the system files. I´m looking for an easy alternative to Acronis full restore that will restore the entire PC to a previous state without needing to install everything all over again.
Thank you sir your video is very helpful 🙏🏻 I have a question though. I will replace my laptop’s internal drive and I want to backup everything. Aside from my files will the System Image backup include my apps, programs and games? And if so will it restore them together with the files on a new internal drive?
I have a question about, added some users in Backup Operators group, but when I am trying start a backup tool it asks for Administrator password, even though the user is member of Backup operators group. Please help
Very informative. Can I restore the "WindowsImageBackup" that I created on windows 10? Because currently I used windows 11, it almost 20 days ago since I upgraded it from win10 to win11.
hi! i have a question. so, if i perform a backup with a system image on a laptop running windows 10, is it possible to use that system image to backup all my data into a computer that runs on windows 11? or would i have to use file history or some other method?
System restore image, work on windows 10, i did upgrade to windows 11 pro and creat new backup system image when restore said file not find. Try from restore point protection ( failed ) not change anything.
Sir I have created the system image backup in my external hard disk but when i try to recover the same under recovery mode my PC doesn’t find my external hard disk. I have tried it so many times, I have formatted the disk as per your guidelines created the backup of system image but PC doesn’t detect my external hard disk. Please help.
Can you please help me to obtain my BitRecovery key, as I have accidentally updated my BIOS and is now asking for the key, but I never created one....Will this be on my Microsoft account security pages ? As I am also changing my mobile number , I have to wait 30 days before I can display my security settings on my Microsoft account pages ? Please help
Great Vid. For me, I created a system image last April 2023 and want to use that to restore my windows 11, during the @9:03, it would ask for a system repair disc. I dont have a CD drive. :/

I have a 2TB external HDD, I have some files on it which I don't want to lose them on format. My windows drive is a 250 GB SSD, is it possible to make a 250 GB partition on my external HDD and create the Backup Image on that partition?
Yes, you can shrink the partition using Disk Manager. Open Diskman in Windows, right click the volume of 2TB and select Shrink Volume. Of course this will work only if you have empty space on the 2TB drive.
Windows often says “ not enough space”. System is 100gb, backup disk is 250gb. It tells me there is no enough space. It has been 20 years, Don’t know why windows never make system backup easier.
Thanks!
Thank you for your Super Thanks!

WIndows 7 Backup and Restore, although present in both Win10 and Win11, is actually NOT recommended to be used as a viable backup solution....
Great Vid. For me, I created a system image last April 2023 and want to use that to restore my windows 11, during the @9:03, it would ask for a system repair disc. I dont have a CD drive. :/
You can use a USB key prepared with Windows 11 like this: ruclips.net/video/QnvrGNMGL2c/видео.html

Windows 10 recovery from old SSD to new SSD as possible??
I have a 2TB external HDD, I have some files on it which I don't want to lose them on format. My windows drive is a 250 GB SSD, is it possible to make a 250 GB partition on my external HDD and create the Backup Image on that partition?
Yes, you can shrink the partition using Disk Manager. Open Diskman in Windows, right click the volume of 2TB and select Shrink Volume. Of course this will work only if you have empty space on the 2TB drive.
@@KnowledgeSharingTech Many thanks
Windows often says “ not enough space”. System is 100gb, backup disk is 250gb. It tells me there is no enough space. It has been 20 years, Don’t know why windows never make system backup easier.
Windows uses a Snapshot to make a backup. If your system drive doesn't have a room for a Snapshot, you will get a "not enough space" message
@@KnowledgeSharingTech so it is my system disk size too small. i thought it means the hard drive for backup storage. it is wired design by windows.
Very useful, thanks
You're welcome!
Sir can I still recover my files after resetting my PC 2times? Thank you so much
If you didn't wipe your PC, chances are that you have your files under a folder called Windows.old
thank you sir
