Hi, I've been using the free version of Veeam, and it has been working alright. This is one of those tasks that you want to set and forget. Usually, they don't have the most amazing UI. Also, many software use the Windows backup services to create their backups, so you're technically running the OS feature. I used to like Macrium Reflect an then they went paid only. Thanks,
Exactly! I had an old version of this tutorial, but I thought it was time for a refresher since I'm always recommending to back up before making system changes.
I'm not sure to do something like that, online services already have their sync clients that backup files automatically. Although you can technically upload backups from other software, there are always restrictions and limitations for content, formats, and things like that. For full backups, it's best to do a local backup or have a secondary location to keep the backups safe.

If you want to pay for it then go either 'acronis true image' or 'macrium reflect'.
This tool is available in windows 7, 8, 10 and 11. It is basic (primitive even) and quite slow. But it works and is for free.
