Great video. I grew up on a small 12 acre farmette. My dad bought one of these new in about 1980. It used to mow better than anything. Brings back memories.

Wow with the Woods Mower and all. I remember that rear pulley shrowd with Woods on it like it was only a year ago.

Hey I have a 184 that is having issues with the governor it idles down just fine but when I throttle up it won't quite go to full throttle and it will gradually decrease to an idle while under load making it want to stall have you ever dealt with similar issues? If not any idea where I could look?

There is a safety switch on clutch petal

All the safety switches had been bypassed on this tractor! You are correct though!!!

Those single belt woods mowers suck. when you get them into even remotely high grass, all you hear is eeeeek the belt slipping and twisted grass. We had a cub lowboy and a International 284 with them. And that belt is not cheap. One long belt that runs from the rear PTO up to the center spindle, over to the right spindle back across the center spindle and over to the left spindle back again to the center and then back to the rear pto, a horrible design. Just Googgle how to replace the pto belt on a Woods belly mower.
